  1. What shafts did you end up using? Did you get non v-spec R33 ones. I'm just about to go through this conversion now. I have an R32 GTR diff that I am installing
  2. It serves it purpose for me. If I could have a 2 post hoist I would of. Much quicker and easier than jack stands. I've only used it to change fluids and service my breaks so far, but prefer it to jack stands as it is more stable. Last time I used jacks stands was a few months ago when pulling the motor out of my brothers car. Getting it up onto them was a pain in the ass and that sold me on getting the Quickjack. You could get more height if you got the light truck adapter kit, but I think it is high enough for most things including pulling the gearbox out.
  3. I use one. It is quicker and easier than jack stands. Obviously a hoist would be better. I have the 240V AC pump but you can get a 12V DC pump as well which would be handy if you took them to the track.
  4. I tried refreshing and clearing the browser cache and ti didn't fix the problem. Just changed the theme and it now works. I think I must of had an old skin that you can't choose anymore.
  5. Still happening when I tried it just then. I can access other parts of the forum. Just tried logging out, accessing projects, overhauls and build-ups (which I could) and then logged in again once there and got the white screen again.
  6. 4.40pm Have problems getting into Projects, overhauls and build-ups. Get white screen. If I sign out I can get to it. Mainly use firefox but same issue with IE as well
  7. You might want to PM Nick (levinboy) as he has used Pulse for his R33 GTR
  8. pm sent
  9. here: plenty of room
  10. That's Bart (co-driver) in the Lotus Exige GT3. It's the car that has competed in the World Time Attack this year and last year.
  11. Sydney Dragway 18/9/2011 R33GTR 12.023 @ 116.19MPH
  12. That's my brothers mini truck. Most of it was built by us in a backyard. Needs a proper suspension setup to hook up and run times. 2JZ Goodness!!!
  13. Check out this thread on SAU. Has pictures which explain it. LINK
  14. Twoogle had one in his car. He got a guy in Sydney to set it up for him. I actually gave the bloke the gear shift leaver out of my car so he could set it up for him. The guy wanted to see how the lever was setup for a GTR before I removed it. It had the strain gauge and amplifier box that connected to an input on the ecu for ignition cut when changing. I can find out from Paul where he got it done as I can't remember the name of the company.
  15. I've heard rumors that it could be of due off due to the track upgrade not bring finished. Is this true?
  16. My Brother has just entered. 2JZ Hilux Power goodness!!!! PM sent to Aggro Dave about it.
  17. This is normal if you are using acrobat reader. Have a look at the top of the form when opened. There is a purple bar up the top that says you cannot save typed data in this form. You either need acrobat writer or use a free PDF printer such as cute PDF. This acts as a printer and allows you to save the print job as a PDF.
  18. So you don't get this thread locked, I suggest you read this You need to at least put ball park figures of what you are after for each part.
  19. Mine were all totally stuffed and seized on. I used a cold chisel to undo the nuts for the front ones and had to cut the rear tail shaft nuts (back of transfer case) with a grinder. Tried using a chisel but they wouldn't budge. There isn't enough room to get a nut splitter on them either.
  20. Money Transferred and entry sent by email Looking forward to this as this will be my first time down the strip. If I want to add extra spectators to the list (only have 2 at the moment) do I just send an email to same address?
  21. How much are you willing to spend on a built GTR engine? I have one available
  22. Nice video Eric!
  23. Some nice shots in there. Thanks for sharing them I thought it was a well run day by Don and the RENEW committee. Everything seemed to run smoothly and equal timed cars were grouped together correctly. I was quite happy with my performances to go from a 1.22 last year down to 1.18 in the first session, then to take it down to a 1.12.84 when I was moved up a group, with nothing changing from last time including tyres. They were only shitty nankangs too. I managed to get through the day without any major issues and just need to modify my catch can setup so I can have the oil return to the sump. There is already a connector on the sump waiting for this too. Besides that, I think one of the next things is to get some better street tyres to see how fast I can go before changing to some semi slicks or to full slicks.
  24. When I drive past they had the woman on the ground out of the car in one of the turn around areas. There were about 5 police cars parked there too.
