I've had this unit for a while now but I've only been able to test it in the wet on the track twice. I've never had a chance to test it on a dry track yet. It's still hard to put all the power down in the wet but the unit makes the car feels more controllable. I came first in the class for both of these track days. I use map 2 with about 50 gain. I would love to know what setting other people use in the dry. What settings do you use in the on the track dry/wet? What works and what doesn't? Apology if this is in the wrong forum, however I feel that there will be more trackies in this forum. Please feel free to move it to a more apropriate section moderator

I will investigate this option and hopefully the administrator doesn't get confuse and want to regulate the established rule like you described I would hate to get a defect again for using semi slick tyres on the road and have to constantly tell the inspector that my car is a GTR and has a few things that he doesnt see on the gtst

Is Race/Rally rego cheaper than the normal rego? I only drive my car between home, track and workshop. I may follow your foot steps if this is feasible. Is there any advantages regard to modification for a race/rally rego? Cheers

How messy is it to take the sump off without removing the engine?

Rhemac in South Australia built some tough RBs in the past.

I thought I had a HKS 600x300x103 until I pulled it out for a clean. It turns out to be an intercooler similar to the hks without the badge; ????? could be a chinese origin. The cooler had been able to support a range of power from 400-500rwkw and up to 2 bars of boost. I agree with R31Nismoid, not everything from China are bad until proven. Anyway, the intercooler has a few dings and I am looking for a replacement (when there's extra cash flow in the current economic health). Does ARE offer a refund if there isn't any power gain with their intercooler?

I asked the girls at the Nissan gallery in Ginza and they gave me directions to get to a Gallery somewhere near Ikekuburo, Tokyo. You will have to catch another subway/JR line from this station. I was going to drop by Ikekuburo at some stage during my trip in Tokyo but got hook on seafood at the Jsukiji fish market, went there too many times for lunch and did not have time to go to the other Nissan gallery lol Sorry I tried to look for the instruction to get there just then but could not find it. LOL If that is the case then I should have bought Mark's and Russ's R32, hire a driver, over indulge with booze in the pit lane and still call it a sport If it's free to modify race class then why is there a need to exclude Lotus, Lofty, Mark/Russ, Garth Waldo/BEL into the pro class? On a serious note, rules are generally developed for the success and survival of such event. If the rules are only designed such that people just want to enter for fun, then that fun will soon burn out and the event may be jeopardized. If the rules make everyone feel competitive then the rules promote more enthusiasms for everyone. Having said that, all of the motorsport events I've entered were only for fun. I will try to bring my R32 GTR to the event. It is slightly modified, has a half cage and RE55s tyres so it will probably be in the open class. If fund permits I will try to hire a stirrer for my turbocharged s2k as well. However I do feel unfair for the other owner-driver to have such experienced driver in their class. That's why I suggested the open class subcategories of driver-owner/hired drivers or may be a semislick/street tyres subcategories in the supersprint class. Queenslanders, has anyone got connection with a car transport company? What would it cost per car if we all chip in to hire a multi cars carrier/truck for the superlap weekend?
