Im keen to test my 32 out at Mallala in the next few weeks before I send it back to QLD. I checked with Mallala and they only have a test day on the 12th of Jan. Does anyone know if there is/are any other track day(s) before then? Thanks in advance

I am keen for an update as well My 32 is in Adelaide atm and will probably be heading up north again mid Jan. It will be awesome if you can organise a track day before that? I will be in Adelaide on the 13th of Jan, is it any good for a friendly track day ?

Big congratulation Andrew Good new travels fast

I think a more politcally correct question should be "will Regency pass anything non standard? "
-
Arrggghhh I wish I can be in Adelaide for this. I checked mallala website and there isn't any track day in late November either Have a fun and safe days everyone.

Awesome videos and time Russel. All the very best in Jap. Russell, can you post the specs of those wicked Ray rims? Did you have to do any modifications to fit the rims and tyres combo? I use similar gears through the track as well...just at a lot slower speed than you guys -
Try double clutching TO4GTR, it should help your upshift speed once you get a hang of it. My dogbox does the same thing as your. I think the 1-->2nd issue is related to the gear ratios.

white, I just looked at my old receipt again. Nissan gave me the smaller white rubber bit. Their computer record has this part for the RB25dett gearbox. Part number is 32861-H7301. The first 5 numbers are the same, hence the above confusion. Thanks for the clarification -

Awesome time Russell!!! Same question as above, will the car be back at QR on a weekend for the rest of mere working mortals to drool ? Dirt, can you provide some more details on the parts used and the installation detail? Would you be keen to produce a kit for me/SAU members? -

That part should only be around $5. As you can see in the picture it is smaller than your old one. The correct part should be about the same size and I've been quoted $12 but wasn't too sure if it is the right one. Does anyone have the part number for the correct replacement? -
Tacker, I get dizzy just following your intercooler plumbing Could you explain?

Has anyone made any other modifications to the standard gearbox case to avoid failures of the PPG?

Gtr Front Lsd. Who Has Used One?
9krpm replied to Beer Baron's topic in Suspension, braking, tyres and drivetrain
I can't really comment on the carbon lsd because I've not used a normal plate front lsd. I've used Kaaz and ATS. The Kaaz rear lsd in the honda is noisy but it's been overtighten. The front ats in the gtr is perfectly quiet after the break in process. Does your make any noise on reverse Russ and what diff are you using in the rear? -
Thanks busky. Does your coating peel off?

Gtr Front Lsd. Who Has Used One?
9krpm replied to Beer Baron's topic in Suspension, braking, tyres and drivetrain
I have an ATS 1.5 ways at the front. I've not notice any understeer at all. There shouldn't be much different between the 1.5 and 1 way because the amount of time I am on the brake is minimal. I only use the brake to shed speed, transfer the car's weight to the front, and as soon as the car starts to take the turn I am back on the gas way before the apex. I agree with Russell, it's a nice upgrade. -
why does the ppg have problem with oil starvation/breathing problem while you don't see it in standard, OS helical or Holinger?
-
$200 is good for me as long as it's on the weekend from now to before next year
-
Thanks everyone. That is very reassuring. I will send my turbine housings there

It would be nice if you could include everyone. I don't have any problem with GTSt, GTiR, liberyt, forester, etc Would it be possible to have 2 sessions? The morning session for Evo, GTR and Sti. The second session is open for everyone. At Queensland raceway, they have regular sprints on selected Saturday afternoon with around 40-60 cars ...sometimes more. The last one I attended there were around 10 per group and around 6 groups. We usually have 4 sessions each for the afternoon. A session consists of 1 warm up lap, 5 race laps and 1 cool down lap. All laps wer time with a stop watch but they have recently introduced electronic equipment. What is your plan for the day format? Mallala is taxy on tyres and brake. You have to ensure that you brake pads and fluid are tracck ready. Street tyres will often reach their temp and melt on the track resulting a lot of scary fun However if the format is as above then it might not be that bad. In the warmer month you should also look at oil coolers. If you feel ready you should come out and have some fun don't wait until the GTR is a breathing mod monster to bring it out That is when a lot of things can break down!!! A well maintained stock GTR with street tyres should not break down just because it's at a race track. It's the best way to learn your car limit in a safer environment. Just follow and listen to the track briefing....you will enjoy it. There is always room for sensible beginner. Hey I am still green at this

This sounds awesome. When are you expecting to organise the first meet? You can just gather interest, get deposit and book out the track for a day. I don't think you will need to organise many other things with CAMS etc etc for a private track day. Don't put on any restriction otherwise people will just bring their Holden and Ford out The less restriction the better. Just let everyone qualify then group them into their qualifying time class. I'll be keen to join this with my GTR if it happen at the end of this year.

Thanks guys....still miss you guys Does Ceramic Coater coat turbo or is this only for dump pipe + exhaust? Does the coating come off? I will try to give them a call tomorrow.
