Had a great fun night. Got my personal best time as well, which was a real surprise with my current setup It's so nice to see so many skylines on the track and meet some fantastic members. Hope to see you again at the mini jam.

I will try to be there if the car is ready. Just need to bleed the attessa and reinstall the fuel check valves. Why don't we meet before the gates so we can shuffle the passengers in the cars before we enter. I have one spare seat so that may save someone $18. Hope to see you all there at 4pm

It doesn't take much to get from 13--> 12.5. However knock another second off that is really hard It's a skyline anyway... so go and rape it lol First gear won't break with redline launch and your power. The 3rd gear synchro is fragile so take your time between 2nd-3rd. I think that's what faid is referring to.

because you are not on 1990's tyres I thought a well kept stock car can manage 12.5 to high 12 stock reline the car and dump the clutch...wheel spin is your friend

No offence intended here but if you can't drive or don't like the feel of race clutch get Jim Berry! I have driven a number of cars with after market clutches from single to quad plates. I have an OS triple and I thought it was easy to drive on the street until it was worn and JB rebuilt the clutch. It just feel like a standard clutch. It's so easy and boring to drive WITHOUT any slip. JB is good I have not driven any of the nismo clutches so I can't vote lol

I know someone ran 9's with the stock diff and still stock axles on with his 8's You will be fine. Change it only if it wears out/ need to

The synchros only help the gears to engage. If you are gentle with gear shift you won't hurt the synchro. If are not gentle then it's a matter of pulling it out and replacing it Still a better option and less expensive than replacing dogs/gears.

I got a triple with similar problem in the past. You can order the pp from OS distributor. I got mine from Willall Racing. Jim Berry is fairly good as well. He rebuilt my clutch when it was worn. Great result so far.

nothing is indestructible especially stuffs that were advertised so in Australia lol My ppg gearbox has just been replaced by os giken, had almost every option in the ppg box but the heat treated parts of the gears worn out I only do circuit track work and drive the car daily with only around 400rwkw. Bet you don't see that from stuffs from Nissan. If you don't drag race and gentle on synchro you are better off without the dogbox.

Im not sure what you mean there IanB. The transfer case is still electronically controlled in both cars and is activated by the hydraulic oil pump.

Yes the R32 came in Vspec II. VpecII has slightly bigger Brembo brake, brake coolers, R33 gearbox, pull clutch slave cylindres and faster ATTESA system. The Brembo only helps slightly but not that much.

Bring it on!!! Some rivalries with the REXes, a SAU club day with some bbq and racing for less than $100 will be great fun. I think I will bring my r32 out nxt Sat. Lets see how much slower the current synchro gearbox will b compare to my previous dogbox. See you guys there.
