how come no one want to drive a bigger kart or try the dogbox?
-
I really like to have a go at U-drive. I want to try out their dog box and see how easy it is to drive one. We talked about it last time on here but didn't get very far. Does anyone like to organise this?
-
great to see you guys had so much fun again as always ...nice pics again maxx damn I missed out on another fine day because my car is still in the workshop Is it me or is it the south australian autoengineering places.....not many places seems to be punctual on their quote at all I dread everytime the car goes into the shop now because I never know when it's finish.....so disappointing :kick:
-
Iheard that U-drive is quite fun for $440 It would be nice if we could organise a SAU U-drive day.
-
mallala open day is quite fun

I was only joking mate It's not that bad. I had 4 removed with GA 12+ years ago. From what I remmember it was not that sore afterward. You just need soup and icecream for a week or so. Good luck
-
^ it will be good for high speed kart drifting then

guys all oral-maxillary surgeons are ball rippers regardless of gender whathisname, are you sure it's on friday? My mate at the RAF is getting his done on thursday and he said the surgeon is only there for the day. Are you sure the surgeon and not the sergeant is removing your teeth? hehehehehe Has anyone got a spare seat? A German acquaintence of mine is currently over here with a work visa. He has a soft spot for nissan and skyline as they don't get much of that overthere. He would kill to get on the cruise. My car is not ready unfortunately:( Is any one kind enough to have him as a passenger?

hey apparantly one of my axles snapped, it's not the diff I am still going ahead with the R2000 diff conversion though. I am shopping around for a pair of rear 180SX CV joint atm. -
Are you sure it's around $25 busky....I thought your last one was even cheaper than that

matt, yeah it's the diff housing. It's expected. I just did not realise it make such a loud bang when it dies though . Was you still there when it happened? I've got a S13 Kaaz 1.5 way diff atm. Let's hope K&A motor sport and PPGearbox.com.au are free. I'll keep your diff in mind though. Matt, let me know when you come back next time. We'll catch up for a drink and cruise. Sorry I was too busy on Saturday to do anything. -

Sorry guys for not turning up to the meeting as planned ages ago. I wasn't planning on entering the drag as I am inexperience and I knew that my diff will blow. However, Keir was keen for me to enter. He is so nice and has helped me so much with my car so I could not refused. It sounds like you guys had so much fun again.....as always when Andrew organise it Thanks for the great photo's Tin. Nice to meet your missus finally. -
Keir will be there with a couple of nissans . I hope John can make it too. It's going to be big guys. Lets hope we will see some sub 8 sec runs.
-
this looks so nice how much is this conversion?
-
hahahha you made a mistake finally, it's actually a tad more than 14 psi  but thank you so much Martin. Hat off to you Martin. I can't wait until you dyno tune it again when my car is ready for more. If you can get me the skyline diff conversion kit from Con before the drag national I will enter the drag with you and call you king Martin too I can vouch for this too. I highly recommend Keir Wilsons facility. One of the nicest team I've fortunately known. I've learn so much from such short time with them. They are real motor enthusiasts and love to look after real enthusiasts. I would also hate to see them waste their time with non serious ppl as they are not a profit orientated workshop. my car is a daily drive mate, I may give the drag strip a go but just for fun only

maxx, yes car was on the truck yesterday to Adelaide's best exhaust place (aka AAA) for some mandrel bending. Hopefully it will be on the tow truck again today to Willall racing. The wheels has always been like that with the "anthracite" centre. It probably looks darker than usual due to the dust that it accumulated in the past almost 3 months at ASE. It's been a lot slower than I expected How is the GT4 Tin? I wish they make them compatitble with PC.

Thanks Nozilla. The grass is always greener on the other side mate I think, in general, we all have fast cars. It's just never fast enough when we get adjusted to it. Love to catch up with you too Nozilla. I think I heard about your nice beast too mate
-
hehe Adelaide is small, I think I do. Are you referring to the silver and the blue cars?
-
It would be so nice to catch up and cruise down there guys It's been so long since I saw you guys and your beasts. Sorry to hear that you are not attending Nightcrawler. However that means you are available to organise a meeting point and the cruise, something that you have demonstrated to be exceptional at mate I was going to enter this for the fun of it but it looks like my gear box won't be ready for it. It is however should be ready for the crusie though. Damn my car is never ready for much. I should have bought a Nissan  I heard this year is going to be bigger than any other years. There will be marques and trade displays there with the drag. Try to come along ppl. Would be nice to
-
have you talk to Tom yet Maxx?
-
btw how much is a 3" cat back stainless steel with a good resonator and muffler normally should cost? I've got quoted $1300 for a catback stainless steel with Supercat resonator and a supercat muffler. Is this good?

Thanks for the suggestion. The AEM EMS has these features inbuilt It has boost control with VSS/RPM, varibale boost settings and traction control. However getting the hardware right rather than relying on the software is always ideal. I will let you guys know how it goes once everythings are done. I was quite excited a few weeks ago when I drove an s15 with similar turbo (and a lower redline limit). It's a bit disappointing to talk about this atm...no sport car to play with during Christmas and new year ..... I guess I've been a bad boy and spent too much time on my car this year...so no christmas present for me BTW Merry christmas and all the best for the new year humble SAU fellows
-
thanks maxx we will be experimenting on the turbo selection depending on the outcome hopefull something that doesn't kickin suddenly (avoiding snap oversteer) and last up to 9krpm I was hoping that it would be ready last week and then today but had the bad news yesterday. That's life sometimes....so no good christmas present for me this year unfortunately
-
sorry I can't make it either; car has been in the workshop for 4 weeks now and still 1/3 completed due to workshop's busy schedule
