  3. My computer is not available in australia I ordered a few other things and the package was quite big...so no luck for me. I ordered it from the US, using UPS. They customed the good while it's in transit from the US to here. So I guess importing is becoming harder....probably due to the Aus dollar strength and Alqueda Since everyone on this thread edited, i'll edit.....some of my typo hehehe
  4. just thought you guys would be iterested to know got my AEM computer a few days ago no import tax for computer but still have to pay GST + custom clearance fee ($48) Anything over $AUD 250 will be charged the GST is charged on good + insurance + freight. This is "criminal"!!!!! The insurrance and freight are from oversea and still get taxed
  5. that is really funny cheeky
  6. on top of that he had to pay for the installation/removal fee + tuning time of the emanage (a couple of hundreds) he will get a small discount for the microtech but we are not happy about the microtech if it's an incorrect wiring issue!!! Has anyone try the microtech before? How much for supply and tune normally? Sorry for going off topic but I am not too happy with this :bs!: now that you guys told me the Emanage works on s14s2
  7. autobarn, who did the tuning? our tuner could not get it to work and my persuade my friend to get microtech the poor guy had to fork out a whopping $$$ on top of his emanage
  8. is it true that there is no duty on the ECU steve? are you sure? my ecu should be here next week *hopefully*...please teach me some excuse to avoid the hefty import tax mate? the emanage comes with ignition and injectors harness
  9. I talked to my friend last night He will let go of the emanage for $550 firm So first come first serve
  10. it works on s14 s1 but not the s 2 similar to the power fc for an australian delivered s14 s2 Well that's what I've been told anyway

  18. pm me too steve
  19. sorry still waiting for parts for my car have a fun and safe one pple
  20. Boostd, can you get special price on the OS Giken pistons? Can you sus out the price for a set of 9:1 CR for the honda s2000 f20c? Is it true that these has the lowest silicon content and less piston slapping on cold weather?
  21. I love to come but my car hasn't got an engine atm have fun guys Merry xmas and a safe new year too
  22. I don't think it's detonation AF has been tuned at 12.5 at the ezhaust tip (this is fairly rich because my car cat is fairly good) The honda cylinder/piston is ovally shaped as well so normal detonation mark is not applicable to my car (I hope ) I think it's the oil Busky, are you back aldready? Nightcrawler, Out Law in town is having a sale on oil cooler. I am planning to get one and custom order the pipes from Enzed in wingfield
  23. did someone say motec engine management is accepted by regency?
  24. engine cracked open today crank bearings ok cylinder 2's pistons was slapping around for god know reason, cylinder 2 wall badly scratched We also found that the spark plugs were very loose. Just hand tighted. Spark plug no 2 was shaved. Damn Honda mechanic!!!!! Mallala did not kill me, SH!T honda mechanic did!!!!!! -10w30 mobil 1 supersyn oil. busky I had no choice mate the 134C was a peak temp, my oil temp was roughly averaged at around 120C. Oil usually break down at 140C -oil cooler on the shopping list thanks for the reminder steve Time for rebuild with forged internals, decopressed pistons and more boost See you guys on road hopefully not tooooo long
  25. Thanks for all the support guys I think Mallala killed me too. I was contemplating on a couple of good laps with a few easy lap in between. However those porsches distracted me Oil temp went up to 134 C Drove around for a week with this oil because I did not have time to get the oil or change it (Now I pay for the consequence ) Change oil and supercharger belt on Sat. Went to Victor Harbour with the slick tyres. Close to redline in most gears. Found bearing noise when I got there After I got back I found that the car was running on 3 cylinders. Compression still good. Noise from cylinder 2 bottom end. Engine will come out this weekend for examination. Can any one give me suggestion on who is good at building Honda engines in SA? My cylinders are oval shaped though. This may be a little bit difficult in SA I am looking at stroker kits, forge pistons, lower compression, higher boost, bigger injectors etc etc but it looks like a lot of $$$ though BTW What are the use of cylinder sleeves? It looks like I will be short of $$$ for the AEM. I will have to use the Greddy Emanage. Is there any good tuners for the Emange in SA? Martin can you look after me with this one too ?
