  1. Thanks steve. Don't worry about the thread...it's fun to read what you guys like to share anyway My car just spun the crankshaft bearing yesterday. I will be doing a major engine upgrade soon, depending on the cost involve. My setup wont be "standard" or ideal for capa anymore. They were keen but were not that keen when I discussed this with them a while ago and it does not seems that convinience for me. I will try to get compliance via interstate route when my car is back on the road.
  2. I'll look more into this one then Martin Thanks Martin. I 'll let you know when I'll get it here
  3. Martin, does this mean that you can help me out with the US AEM?
  4. thanks bl4ck32 i will sus them out the V4 looks really good.
  5. that one looks really good however I dont need all the parts in that kit. All I need is the cooler and a braided line. I can get the braided line and fitting fromm Enzed. So it's only the cooler that I need. I think Autobahn has got one but I am not sure how good it is. Keep me posted on the GB thing though. The current bid price on the kit that you mention is a steal though. The oil filter adaptor thing alone cost more than $100
  6. Here is more info on the product Plug & Play Programmable EMS AEM’s Plug & Play Engine Management System (EMS) will forever change the way you look at and perform fuel injection tuning! This user-programmable system plugs directly into a vehicle’s factory ECU harness and requires no additional wiring or hardware.* Windows™-based software (2000, NT, 98, 95, ME) makes the task of copying, viewing and manipulating data as simple as a click of the mouse. User-defined templates are easily configurable and enable tuners to establish “quick keys” to any pertinent information during the tuning process. The AEM EMS’s infinitely adjustable software allows tuners to program virtually any combination of engine control, power adders and auxiliary devices, and accurately deliver proper amounts of fuel and correct ignition timing for ANY boost level or operating condition. 7. Do you guys know of any tuner in SA that is familiar with this product? I want to increase my boost, upgrade injectors and get a stand alone engine management system. I love to get the Power FC but it's not available for my car This toy has got a lot of potential though. Many thanks in advance
  8. I betta bring a spare belt then nightcrawler, I had a look and found that 250F is about 121Celcius...it's not too bad. My temp maxed at 132C which is about 270F I need an oil cooler mate. Which oil cooler do you recommend mate?
  9. thank darkhalf does anyone want to go for a round of golf at belaire before the bbq if there is no sat comp?
  10. Nice meeting you guys too. Many thanks to nightcrawler for organising the event, providing the delicious food and putting on a drift show on the race track in front of 2 porsches hehehehe. I am itching to get back there again guys. I want to up my boost so much to catch up with the 911 turbo. Apparently that is the fastest road legal/track car in Australia as money can buy I hope you will get your beast then too mattr Nightcrawler when will you be ready again? John your car is nice mate
  11. can I come in a non-skyline car?
  12. dyno dyno!!!! congrat that engine bay looks hot
  13. The event was so fun. There were 3 porsches there, 911tt4wd, GT3 and a ?996 race car. I think matt said I am about 5 sec behind the 911. This is not bad considering it's my first time there and the alignment setting was not setted as aggressive to prolong tyres life. However, it did not feel like a 5 sec slower with those beast around. It's really difficult to keep up!!!!! I was getting the hang of it until my supercharger belt shredded Luckily there was no other damge and the car is still driveable. Well no boost or 9krpm for the next few weeks for me. I think we all had fun there today. Thanks for the delicious food nightcrawler. We should organise another Skyline track day. I hope we will get more pple next time. Quote of the day "You are faster than nightcrawler" from Matt hehehe poor nightcrawler with a fresh set of Dunlop street rubber. It must have been difficult to control that beast.
  14. I cant believe this..I am about to teach someone about computer  1. hit image button 2. post link 3. hit image button again Now can anyone show me how to convert my car into this one without costing $200k + :headspin:
  15. got my re540s and wheel alignemt today alignment is a tad less than perfect but that will do for now re540s on my 16" stock rims are sticky but seems to sideroll a lot more than what was on my 18". However the weight loss from 18"-->16" rims feels great in term of acceleration. I weighted last night and it's something like almost 19kg/4 wheels. ....hmm need to find some twisty roads tonight to get use to this setup and prepare for track tomorrow. So are you guys meeting at Sefton for a small cruise up there? Cant wait to hit some high speed corners tomorrow Common guys, come down the track and burn some rubber.
  16. bridgestone at wingfield did my wheel alignment today pretty good effort for first crack at my car. Caster on the left is a tad more than the right. Otherwise an excellent job. I think they are more used to skyline than my car. A couple of boys there have skyline....so I think they would be fairly good. I normally use the one on the corner of morphet and gouger. I got the name of those two place mixed up but the southern side one is the one that I usually use.
  17. I am up for a midnight or late cruise I will be bugged after a track day and a chrismas dinner on sat.....but I like to test out the new 540....that's if I could get them today Getting excited about this track day now Pitty that most ppl car are not ready yet
  18. See you on Sat nightcrawler I hopefully will get a car alignment and a set of RE540 on my stock rims tomorrow. Should be a nice day I hope more ppl can come
