  1. It has been doing 1.15 on slick around Mallala without any oil problem so far. I've his drag car engine with same specs, well almost Greddy pump instead of Jun which has been known to be the same pump origninally, and had no problem on the circuit either but converting it to dry sump atm .....just for peace of mind.
  2. There's plenty of room with a Peterson 5 stage. I am sure you can squeeze another stage into there but the oil drain needs relocation.
  3. I am in the process of fitting a Peterson 5 stage dry sump kit from "dazmo" There is still a bit of room behind there. The 6 stage will fit but you will have to block the front turbo oil return hose and tee it to the rear if required. A small plug for dazmo; his dry sump kit is fairly well designed, packaged and priced. I am impressed with the quality.
  4. Nightcrawler, no go mate. I called on Monday to order the radiator and PWR told me they will require at least 5 days to fabricate. The workshop owner also has a lot of paper work and stuffs to do for the break in as well. So we will take our time and do this properly. This will also give me some breathing space this week to catch up with my work. It's a pity given that we were ahead of schedule. Yes it feels like the old crews are getting together again especially so when my mate just asked me to test his turbocharged S2K at Mallala this weekend lol Just like the old days when you guys drove Skylines and I had my boosted s2k It will be awesome to catch up.
  5. Funny you mentioned that. I've a R33GTST diff in my turbocharged F20C honda s2k. Broke the Neessan CV and lots of axles before Try driveshaftshop.com if you are after unbreakable stuffs.
  6. Thanks guys. It's not the end of the world and we are still a lot more fortunate than our NZ neighbours but it's frustrating to see that there are still people who just take what they don't deserve. Hi Matt, yes I am back in Adelaide. Been here for 4 months aldready and have been soooo busy. Will you come out to Mallalla on Sunday? It will be great to catch up.
  7. I am trying to revive an ex-drag R32GTR ready for the Skylines National. I've been so busy with work the past 1.5 years and unfortunately doing this in the last few minutes. My great mates have been lending great helping hands. We were pretty much ahead of schedule until this morning when we rocked up to the workshop and found out that the shop was broken into. A couple of things were stolen from my car. I pretty much have spares for everything and can still get on with this project except this custom PWR radiator/oil cooler with a 16" fan. It's a custom made radiator, which has very unique dimensions and required extensive modification to the r32 radiator bracket to fit. It was specifically made for my car, wont fit any car, requires extensive modifications to radiator support which make the car ADR illegal (ie could only be used on race car). It has my specifically designed specifications and is not the typical PWR oil cooler built inside a radiator that PWR builds for R32 (ie I can easily spot this radiator and if I see this radiator on any race car at the track the owner will get lots of private session from me. Since I am sure won't be able to order a replacement from PWR in a week and therefore won't be able to bring this ex-drag car back to life for the Skyline National next Sun. This radiator is pretty much useless to anyone who has it. I am willing to pay the reward to any person who bring this radiator back with NO QUESTION ASK.
  8. Damn it!!!! I was going to get the race car ready for this meet but someone broke into my mate's workshop and stole my custom PWR radiator and a catch can. I have almost every spare except for these thing.....it's going to be even harder to get this car completed. I think I will be spectating this weekend. Bloody thief, ruined a good weekend.
  9. You will be happy with the D-jetro mate. I jumped from a well tuned D-jetro on to the Vipec band wagon when it had a lot of steam/hype and I had to deal with a lot of BS. It has to be one of the biggest mistake and pain in my car modifying hobby. Before anyone jumped into conclusion, it was done at an authorised Vipec dealer in QLD. I am sure Vipec has improved a lot since then but I would not wish that experience on my worst enemy. I now have an Autronic SM4 on my street r32 and Motec on my track r32.
  10. I use Splitfire with the CBI500R and still had no problem (misfire or start up) with E85 and 2bars of boost. How much boost are you planning to run mate? The more you deviate from a stock setup the harder it will be to diagnose problem when it arise.
  11. Is the box new, who assembled it and how did it break? I broke my PPG and a couple of axles but have failed yet to break the OS.
  12. It will be great to see a R35 with 9krpm launch one day when (and if) OS Giken or Holinger will make gearbox components for the gr6
  13. Hi Mark, Unfortunately I've relocated back to South Australia for work. August is only 2 months away, but I hope to have the new r32 tuned by then. I saw your other post with the R35. That is a nice achievement. I can't wait to see how fast it will be when you complete the project.
  14. That and a few other physical changes around the track made the track slower as well. Hopefully I can get my track R32 ready soon, so we can have a fair comparison between a properly modded, well maintained track R32GTR with the R35. I wish I can get the suspension setup or a copy version of the Gibson's cars though. I am however may not be up to the task of driving since I have not driven on the track for close to a year May have to get Keir to drive both for a fair comparison and see which is faster ^_^
  15. I'll try to get my new R32GTR ready by then. It should be a fun event.
  16. Awesome!!!
  17. I've never had any problem with mine. I bought mine a long time ago and not from the group buy. I think they had a bad patch for the group buy.
  18. Great work!!!
  19. Sorry FC has been gone. I still have 2x Mickey Thompson 255x50x16 with only a few drag passes. $200 each or happy to trade for a pair of used Mickey Thompson 275/xx/17
  20. Price drop, like to clear some shed space $1000 ono This will bolt up to the AC side of the RB26. Lines, fittings and belt are all needed to convert to dry sump.
  21. 4 stages Peterson dry sump oil pump as picture below + spline drive attachment for ATI crank pulley + mounting bracket for RB26 engine. Little use since new. Not needed as I am going bigger. Items in Gold Coast. 1100 ONO + freight/ free for pickup Sorry for the iphone quality picture and a bit of surface grease since I did not have time to wipe it off.
  22. I had both on an OS 3 L and had nil problem with both.
  23. Has anyone got any comparison data for Plazmaman and Nismo plenum? The Nismo plenum is designed for mid range response and would be a better comparison.
