1. The R3C is not intended to be used for putting around the workshop. The first thing you will notice after getting car back from workshop, at any stage of the R3C life ie old/new, where the car has been shuffling in/out of the workshop, will be instant on and off. This is worst if the mechanic doesn't know how to use the clutch. It is designed for race condition. Once you have a bit more heat into the clutch it will be easier to drive. The best way to relieve your current problem to do a few high rpm launches That's what the clutch is designed for.
2. I have a set of 1000cc Power Enterprise that I can let go for a good price if you need some more flow later for E85
3. What other secrets were in the Willall R35 Martin? http://gsr-evo-club.net/documents/track-da...l%20Results.pdf Keir did a mighty quick time in the above result. I have a lot of catching up to do! Damn money tree...grow grow lol
4. Thanks for sharing r33 racer. I have a restrictor on my Greddy T67 turbo in the honda s2000 as a temporary fix atm and intended to do something like this when I have spare time. The pressure gauge reads 10+ bar in the honda!
5. I changed my bellmouth dumps (Mine) to splits (Greddy) and boost came in a few hundreds rpm earlier without any tuning. I cant recall the exact rpms, but definitely more than 500 and less than 1500rpms...too long ago to remember. I did not have a chance to put the car on the dyno to test out so I don't really know if this "positive" pressure means earlier power or more restriction.
6. Depending on the cost and reliability, I am keen for a set as well
7. Congrats Andrew. Best wishes for the day
8. As flexible as the roll cage but will take o.n.o

10. Isn't the torque curve on this graph? It's interesting where the power and torque curve intersect. Very typical of a variable valve; it's similar to my turbo honda s2k dyno. It would be nice to have rpm on the x-axis but I am just being picky It's great to have a tuner/workshop that is dedicated to his work and customer service by sending you all of these information after his work. Unlike a place that I've been to, I had to chase it up for weeks and still failed to get a final dyno run. Needless to say I and my friends won't be back there in a hurry for racepace
11. That's a very nice power curve Matt. What else has been done to the head beside the vcam mate?
12. Sorry the imbedded link did not work; http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=m1lCjOgoyEM&hl=en&fs=1& Juggernat, I think the T67 they referred to is a Garrett T67, which I have no idea how it fair up to the Greddy T67. I have not play with Borg Warner turbo but a turbo s2k in NSW has been using these Borg Warner turbos with some good success.
13. Thanks for all of your kind helps guys. Drag racing is over for this little pocket rocket, so I am not going to try shoot big top end number. I will get the car retune in a month time with this the current and see what we can get in the low to mid rev. If it's "too" responsive then I may try the TD06SH. I will definitely report back here for the difference between the 2 turbo if I do test the td06sh. BTW this is what a GT37R does on a 2.2L on pump fuel + meth/water injection in the US <param'>http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=m1lCjOgoyEM&hl=en&fs=1&"> I read that he has ~685whp (equivalent to around 450rwkw on the OZ dyno) Thanks again
14. Thanks for recommending the K5 turbo but I think I will save that money to make the gtr faster I think I will look at the TD06SH -25G 10cm since I am pretty sure that my T67 is 25G 10cm.
15. Roy and Phunky monkey, you guys are awesome. Much appreciate for the offer Roy. You are too kind. I'll drop you a private message after work today. Thanks mate.
16. I had a chance to look at the tune and talked to the tuner this morning. Engine is basically sucking the turbo out of it's efficiency by around 7500rpm. Extra timing and boost (on the controller) were given but we did not see anything more than 15-16psi. Midrange timing is extremely conservative so, there MAY be a bit more top end power gain once this get tuned. Yes the GT35R or GT37R will be nice for this setup but it will involves a lot of fabrication work and 400rwkw will not be usable on the street for this car. How much laggier is the TD07 compare to the T67?
17. It's a 10 but I did not double check when I got it back from the turbo rebuilder. I will double check today. The tune was very conservative with, from memory, about 14 degree top end If it's a 10, what is my next option Trent? I think that's the benefit of these Greddy turbo where the boost ramp rate is early enough but not as rapid. No problem with traction in 3rd with the RB25 gearbox ratio on the 245 treads used for dyno. First and second is not too bad until ~6krpm. Yes I can understand traction problem with the shorter gear ratio in oem box, non mechanical diff, and garret turbo. Yes I recall Buschur had some good success with recoring the ?TD06 but don't they also change the compressor wheel on these turbo. Do you have any proven results with just recoring the turbo? Thanks Dazmo.
18. Sorry to asked this question here but most s2k rev heads have not stroked the f20c engine to this capacity yet or use Greddy turbo. I figured that you guys would be the best people to ask, since you would have a lot more experience with the Greddy turbo on the RB25. Anyway, I've been tinkering with both RB and F20C for a while now. Both engines fascinate me So don't tease me with this ricer engine okie lol The T67 on my built 2L s2k made 312 kw at 18psi. The engine has been stroked to 2.47L and still has the T67 turbo. We spent a bit of time on the dyno yesterday. Will do a bit more at a later stage to get more midrange. The setup would not produce any more power after 15psi or above 7.5krpm despite what we tried. Currently, on pump 98 fuel, it makes -7psi of boost at 3krpm -200rwkw at 4-4.5krpm -peak torque @ ~5.7krpm -320rwkw at 7.5krpm My tuner told me that the turbo is out of puff and I know that he is correct (but was giving him a hard time when he suggested switch to ball bearing turbo lol) Has anyone got any dyno result of T67 turbo on a RB25? When does the T67 runs out of puff and at what power? I am looking for a bit more midrange and may be a bit more top end. In your experience, is there any turbo out there that can give me both? Car is used for street and tight circuit. Thanks
19. I am sorry to see mate. Car looks beautiful and fast. I hope you are almost done with the repair. It will be nice to see it on track again. The last video was sad to see From the video it appeared that your rear end stepped out under brake. What actually caused the accident? Brake lock up, oil/gravel on the road?
20. Well I am happy to test if someone has a set of turbo lying around Engine may come out at the end of the year for a refreshment. I will probably remove the ABS too so it should help with the change over process. In reality I doubt that T618z/GTRS would make much difference for what you are doing xrated, unless you plan to take the car on a tight circuit as well. With NOS and drag racing, I would probably go for the TD06 6cm and then upgrade it to the larger exh housings for more top end power if required. I've driven 3 x RB26/30 GTRs with TD06 8cm ( or was it 10cm), HKS T51R, T618z and T517z. Engine specs and tuner were the same. The response is the reverse of the above order and max power is in that order. The TD06 came on very strong and was very exhilarating to drive.
21. discopotato03, how does the GTRS compare to the Greddy T618Z turbo? On my rb26/30 the T618z starts to produce boost at around 2.2krpm and reached max torque at 4.7krpm. I am still tinkering with the cams and the tune is not finished yet. I am hoping to shift the torque curve by 1000rpm earlier. I would love to have a set of GTRS to test. Some people reckonds that they might be more responsive and produce more top end power, but I am not too sure looking at their specs. The only difficulty with these low mount turbos is that they will take a good day + evening to change them
