  1. Lol, I was the organiser of the day so I didn't get any time to take photos of the cars. Our photogropher ran off on us at the begining of the day, so as we speak I'm getting together all the photos people took on the day, I'll post them up in a minute
  2. What do you mean and the cars? Kristine is in the black checkered skirt (she's the only one with a boyfriend). Angie has the dark blue skirts and red wedges and Sarah has the (ugly) denim skirt and brown wedges.
  3. I got a heap of photos of our girls with the Bug, it's an awsome little car
  4. Well the Big Day BBQ is tomorrow :laughing-smiley-014: I'm really looking forward to seeing all of you there!
  5. The Goat Track is a road from Canungra to Tamborine Mountain, it comes on the Southernd end right near the Showgrounds. It's extreamly windiny, steep and narrow, but an awsome drive
  6. The goat track is awsome since it got redone, except the lights take twice as long, and they took long enough before. Look forward to seeing you there
  7. Awsome man, that's what I like to hear
  8. That's the second birthday that weekend! Wish her a happy birthday incase I don't see you guys. Well we've had alot of interest from members from alot of different clubs asking if they can get some photos of our promo girls washing their cars....So here we have it. You are able to have your car washed with our promo girls for a small fee. There are a limited amount of bookings to be made so you'll need to get in quick!!! PM me if you would like one of those spots.
  9. Hey guys! Just to let you all know, the date and location has changed, which you can check out in the 1st post. The reason we changed it is because there was a cancelation at the Showgrounds, which is alot bigger and has alot more parking space then where we had origionally planned on having it.
  10. Have a counted correctly...have 16 people said they're coming so far?
  11. SloMo is Slow Motion, the club I run, the club that is holding the Big Day BBQ, it's all in the thread if you've read it
  12. Hey guys! The members from SloMo who are coming up from Brisbane are meeting at Yatala BP Just thought I'd let you all know
  13. Just reminding everyong again...If you've got a club t-shirt please make sure to wear it. And by the way everyone, the Slow Motion website/forum is now up and running. We're still doing alot of work to it as it's still in it's origional skin. But feel free to go on, have a look around, sign up and have a post. There aren't many members yet because I had a lazy week this year hanging out with my man while he's on holidays. But i'm getting my act together...
  14. There are four roads up the mountain; Henri Roberts (extreamly steep), Tamborine Oxenford Road (lots of off camber corners and steep), The Goat Track (steep and windy and narrow with traffic lights) and Tamborine Mountain Road (the least steep but with heaps of corners). I would suggest Tamborine Mountain Road as it is the most popular by people with modified cars. It would be great to have some people to help with food, cooking sausages etc. Over the next week or so I shall be aproaching businesses on Tamborine for donations, and no-one can really help me out with that. As for South Side meeting point, I'm not going to suggest anywhere cause I will be on Tambo the whole day
  15. Anyone and everyone is welcome to attend...it's a public event and you're definatly welcome to come along. Sorry about not updating the title thing guys, I'm still new at posting on sites and stuff. I will certainly remember in the future.
  16. Awsome Silver Dingo! Yeah Saturday is the true day of rest...but I'm not religious. Besides, I live on Tamborine Mountain and I work in Hopsitality, so taking a Sunday off is missing the biggest tourist day on the mountain
  17. Sweet vinci68, look forward to seeing you there. But Markimak, I can't hold it on a Sunday, I'm taking the Saturday off work as it is, can't afford to take a Sunday off in my line of work.
  18. Alright everyone...here is the updated infomation again just for those of you who haven't come across it already or incase I forgot to post it. When: Saturday 15th September Where: Rosser Park, Prospect Street Mt. Tamborine Time: 11am I know September is ages away but August was too full and I can't have it in July cause I need time to try and get donations
  19. Well I'm hoping to have raffles if I can convince some places to donate prizes for me...so it all depends on how much luck I have with that.
  20. Can people please let me know when they've decided if they're coming or not so that I can get a rough estimate on how much food to buy
  21. Alright people, a date has been picked, a destination has been chosen and the time has been set. 15th of September Rosser Park, Prospect St. Mt. Tamborine Start at 11am Now...one more thing I have to ask of people...I need some people to help me out with the food...anyone want to volunteer?
  22. I'll tell you what it would just be good to pick a date without someone alerting me to something that was on that day. The commodore charity cruise is on the 12th which I've already paid for. Can anyone tell me of a day when there's NOT something on!
