IMO: its shit, in my 66 mustang that i tuned to run on vpower(98) i have heaps of power both top and bottem end with no pinging. The second i put BP ultimate(98) in the car i have to turn down my advance and thus i lose some horse power(its a big difference). By the way it pings off its head on ultimate at the same tune, cant do 100kph with out getting pinging. Mind you a V8 is much easy to tell when it is pinging and you feel it alot more than in the GTR.

^agree Mate, i own both a 1966 mustang GT, and a 93 GTR. I have driven r33 gtst's as we have one in the family. I love my V8 she is not only better looking that the GTR but gives me a buzz nothing else can. HOWEVER the GTR is a car that goes around corners goes great in a straite line and still is a great looking motor car. (if i had to give one up i would be pulling my hair out, but at the end of the day the mustang would still be in the garage.) Your r33 is a better looking car than that. And will handle much better and be quicker. If your sick of the r33 maybe look at a GTR, or go for the v8. Keep in mind they are good for diffent things, V8's are burnout machines the best in the business. They also make cheap power and are much cheaper to buy most parts. The liner is a better car, i wouldn't be handing over cash ontop of the car. V8s are great, but thats the wrong car to own if you want a v8. My 2 cents

^ yeah I agree, More track time that you could ever want and timed. I was thinking for one award to have a regularity (this will get more slower cars/drivers out, to boost numbers) it means that the person with the least difference between all there times with a minimum number of laps say 10 laps gets the prize. This could be quite a boost to numbers, might be wrong,

I was thinking extra money goes into making the banner for the ACT, and any extra money after that goes into maybe starting the ACT sau club, if there is interest in doing so.

Also i might think about getting some trophies to help draw more people, It wont add much to the over all cost. Edit: I agree with doing a weekday, Cuts the cost and everyone can get ONE day off. Are we going to limit this to Skylines and Supras? Or cars with engines from ethier of the cars to try to stop have a massive speed diff? I think that with the track booked for the day their will be heaps of room on the track after the first 1hour and if not it wont take long for people to have to cool their brakes and get fuel. Would help heaps with numbers.

Timing, insurance, ambo, marshel officer, the track all to us from 9 till 4. (as many laps as you can get in) The garages that are open near the carpark can be used both on speed of the streetdays and the hire of the track as far as i know. I will be thinking of staying the night before to trackday in a cabin. A little more money but its far cheap to do so + it would be alsome just to get up at 8:30am
