Hey im planning on doing the an amount of upgrades in the mere future so doing some research.. Along with a few engine mods will a new pump and filter effect performance? eg.(for a 32) *Walbro 550HP 255LPH In-tank EFI HP fuel pump - Nissan Skyline R32 GTS/GTSt Direct Fit @ just under $200 anyone have any info on these filters? *Paxton Signature Series Fuel Filter @ $230 or *SX Fuel Filter -10 inlets and outlets @ $220 or just a cheap $30 one? www.tweakit.net I dont know much about engine management systems, can they be installed by someone like dr drift before a tune? Was reading up and found abreviations i cant understand. "r32's don't have R&R." "SAFC will set you back about $250" "16:1 afr" Any info on those terms would be helpful, also any EMsystems worth looking at?

Hey i saw on a bike vid that BOV's arent legal on the gold coast, wasnt sure if it was the same for Vic? Anyway.. In the city we dragged some xr6 turbo, in my mates charged stata.. owned us ofcourse. But instead of having a BOV, his blead off as it wound up, with no waste at each gear shift.. Was that a bleed valve he would have been running? If so does anyone know much about these coz i want to run that sound but dont know how to go about doing it and dont know much about that setup. So if anyone knows anything about that kind of setup could you throw some info my way? cheers. "A bleeder valve is open all the time. Bleed valves work by fooling the waste gate into only seeing some of the boost pressure. The rest of the pressure is vented off, sometimes completely wasted by blowing out an open hose. Just like an air leak in any other hose this wasted air can cause problems with modern computerized engine controls. Additionally this causes the waste gate to open before maximum boost which can create turbo lag" i dont think ill be trying that idea then..

i kinda understand that.. Well i can see how that would affect the front, i would just raise the suspension.. ive only seen it happen in the rear of my cars, so i wouldnt notice stones etc, seeing as rear dont turn. thinner rim.. raise front.. roll tub lips.. adjust camber.. many options but you should be able to make a simple DIY

i ohnestly didnt understand most of what you said... could you elaberate? With pricing, im going from stock r32 and buying all performance parts with money from other car, meaning my pocket will only be so deep

Im researching which coils to buy and i can get a set of HSD's $1400 delivered, or i can try the ISC N1, qoute "$1425 delivered with free set of springs". Whats your opinion on the two? quality/reliability wise?

The first thing you should do... Jack up your car, take off your wheel. Find a heat gun and a mallet/hammer, cover the tub edge with layers of tape. Then heat the sucker up, tape should protect paint, then slowly roll the edges in using the hammer, while keeping the edge hot enough to fold. I had problems like that on my old car but in the back, the lip of the tub shreaded the walls of my tyres, but was all good after doing that.. **unless i read your post wrong and you actually mean the tub itself but then i figured the tyre would be hitting the suspension housing..?

Do you guys mean the retailers promoting through SAU? I found in my old car the back end had shifted about an inch(commodore) , but is it worth putting in a rear bar?
