RB20_RX7

so what needs to be done to actually run a pretty aggressive cam set? something like 280's

run blow-thru maf? just a thought

my rb20 longblock with trans on the crate was 350lbs

ok, i have an RB20 in my rx7... i was going to use eprom and chip the ecu but if i went E-manage ultimate i can run on map instead of using the maf sensor correct? and full control of timing? i would also have to get the r32 pnp harness and then swap a few wires? thanks guys, this thread is great!

just curious, how big is the fuel tank in a skyline? my rx7 has a 14.5 gallon cell so i'm just wanting to compare and see how much mileage i may get from my setup

the only garrett gt500r i know of is made by a company called A-spec. it's instended for Rotaries tho, having a large hotside w/ the gt35r turbine but a 66mm/94mm compressor wheel.

the plan is to throw it in there as is, get the turbo setup together and working, probably gonna go with a microtech ecu, tune the bitch and run it till she lets go. then i will probably do a good rebuild/ overbore it's just something different and should be great for the road course! oh and by decently large turbo i mean probably a gt30/40r.... which will be weird because my rx7 at the moment has a 70mm turbo on it with a bridgeported 13b i'll definitely be stepping down in the power world for now, but it will be a lot more fun, better on fuel, and believe it or not.. more reliable there are a shit ton of people here with RB20's running around beating the shit out of them making decent power every day. i've pulled my 13b 3 times in the past 6 months ahhahahaha

un believable... i just read all 69 pages in one sitting HAHAHAH. as troy said it's amazing to see how far everyone has come over the past couple years i hope to have good results with my setup here shortly. Carl H and I are putting an RB20 in my FC RX7 i'm a big fan of lag so i will be using a decently large turbo. i'll post updates as they happen -zac
