also you had some flame actionhappening. got a bit too close to ya on one corner and just saw a bit of orange and then black smoke. then at the carpark saw a tiny bit of black smoke on my front bar hahahahahah

get a smaller size socket that you dont need to buy a cheapo one and bash it onto the sump plug and undo it. did the same wheni had my R33. was the only way to get it out. or as mentioned above drillit out but just be carefull you dont f**k the threads up ont he sump

well it could be that or anything really. thats just the first and easiest thing to check. and if faulty cheapest to fix. try the DIY method out first or borrow somones coil packs. then if that fixes the problem you can make you mind if you should get splitfires or not.

coilpacks. easy way to check is take out all coilpacks and give them a good clean. look carefully for hairline crack. usually looks like white powdery cracks. if you see then that means your coilpacks are gone. if you can do a DIY repair on them with some clean silicone sealant. i did that to my R34 and it handled 240rwkw daily for over a year and still going strong.

if you get tested on the spot then that is good enough proof. if you havent noticed, a fair few booz bus setups have defect bins setup with little f**kers in yellow jackets with EPA stamped at the back. they will test your car on the spot and issue you with a fine as soon as its over the limit. most will just take picture of your exhaust system and if you do the sneaky thing and change it to stocka nd get it tested, correct me if im wrong you will still get a fine. as they testers will also take pics and compare them

even if you still have your stock exhaust you still get slapped with a $580 fine. its the eaisest way for them to make money. "oh hey there. i can hear your car. here is an EPA notice. expect a fine in the mail and if you could kindly deposit the $580 into my piggy bank that will be great"
