  5. im running 18x8.0 on the front, unsure of offset i'd have to check with 235 rubber no guard work and 18x9.0 +24 with 265 tyres no guard work. back wheels sit flush, maybe stick out a mm or 2. looks good thats on r34gtt
  6. yeah its definatly tyres. pulled the ones off of my old r33 and tried them on the front. pulling to the left is pretty much all gone. and its quiet as. so off to the shop to get some new tyres fitted on tuesday. yay!
  7. I'll grab some tonight mate if i remember they look like any splitfires though
  8. Price: $450 i am willing to post at buyers expense. contact: steve - 0422850698 or pm/msg here
  9. anythings possible, there is gutter rash on the drivers side rims (front and rear) i think, cant really remember which side haha tyres were running 32psi pumped them up to 40psi and it made it a little more bearable. its more of a background noise now which makes me think the tyres are at fault. even the steering feels a little straighter. i'll go up to 44 psi or something and see if it improves again. if it does new tyres maybe. if it was a bearing issue wouldn't the noise be apparent at all times? its mainly like 50-80kmph it's a gt-t. reason for new control arms is apparently the ball joints were worn according to the roadworthy guy. and wouldnt pass without them being fixed. so previous owner had nizzpro install new lower arms including ball joints before i bought it. they mentioned they werent that bad though. so yeah shame this is the only problem with the car. but its freaking annoying. have to turn the stereo up to drown it out haha
  10. front mount definatly fits, was bottleand motors had to come out though, until i move battery to the boot and get a new bottle. neo engine cover came off aswell. bit of trimming on the front bar and the reo and it was all sorted. there was a vacuum line from the a/c pump to a nipple on the i/c piping, didnt have anywhere to put it so just plugged it. didnt affect anything any idea what this does? couldnt be bothered changing suspension. its all done minus swaybars anyway.
  11. there is actually a wire you can cut to get the same effect. its not really recommended though. i think user secur1ty (or whatever his name is) posted it up agesss ago. maybe check that out?
  12. they look good i took mine off last night when the fmic went on. damn it was filthy under that cover though. degreaser time!
  13. i run volk gtc's on my r34gtt back is 18x9.0 +24 stick out maybe 5mm from the guard. i forget what my front offset is, but they it flushish, so probably +29 or something? but yeah dont even bothered trying haha
  14. also could this be a bearing issue? kinda want to suss what it is before i spend money on new tyres, new bearings etc etc thanks
  15. hey guys, picked up a nice new r34 yesterday after a long month or so without a car great car to drive, however... there is one little annoying problem with the car. alignment seems to be out as it pulls to the left badly 95% of the time. it also produces a whirring sound. kinda like "whir whirr whirr whirr" speeding up and slowing down as road speed changes. i assumed this would be an alignment problem. so i took the car to beaurepairs to have an alignment done (i know beaurepairs arent great but they were close to my work to try and get the problem sorted) got the car back absolutly no change in the steering feel or noises. other things to note are car had new lower control arms and ball joints fitted yesterday by nizzpro. also it appears as though must of the important front bushes have been replaced. (they are red so would assume pedders?) any advice on this? is it an alignment thing? or perhaps the wheel gone out of balance? there is some camber wear on the inside of the tyre - could this be causing it?
  16. yeah from more extensive searching looks like suspension is no deal no idea on swaybars though
  17. what is this front bar? and where do i find one? am i right in assuming its a standard one? but only on certain 34's?
  18. sweet as, any idea on the other parts? like suspension, swaybars etc
  19. wanted to buy r33 gtst stock intercooler piping to return car to standard. located on brisbane soutside, so local is best. Cheers, Steve 0422850698

  21. yeah i thought as much, just thought id see if anyone had a definite answer swaybars are another one i'd like to know...
  22. hello, sorry if this has been covered before, but i did a quick search and couldnt find anything. will a greddy type front mount intercooler (standard sort with the the pipework over the fan) from a r33 gtst fit straight onto a r34 gt-t? also while im here are any other parts exhangeable from these models? eg suspension etc? im pretty sure coilpacks are a no go. thanks for you help, Steve
  23. dropped to $5000ono open to offers guys!! can take parts off for cheaper price
  24. yeah, bribie island is a long way for me to drive when there is alot of unkown details that could sway me from wanting it to not wanting it. not having a go, its priced well and it'll probably sell pretty quick but the more details the better in a sale thread.
