yeah it was a good exercise for me. never done anything like it before. with all my gutter rash it would of cost me a mint to have them done professionally. learnt a lot and turned out great. unfortunately i just installed windows 7 and forgot to make a backup of some of my photos. hence no better photos than the avatar one i'd take some now if my yard wasnt flooded haha

my avatar contains wheels i have painted black myself. took me a good 2 days, that was cleaning, sanding, puttying all the gutter rash, sanding again, sanding again.... and again. primer. black spray then gloss spray. tyres were still on wheels, just masked up. all up cost me like 50ish dollar in paints and stuff. then a bit for sandpaper and tape. definatly less than $100. poweder coating in the end would probably be better, but would cost anywhere from $150 - $400 my coats still holding up fine also after 3 months

yeah shockreco is apparently the place to go. turn around is approx 3 days. cost is usually around the $220 mark a shock. can revalve to spec etc. am about to get my ohlins rebuilt there when i can be bothered to drive there.

2 door and 4 door r33's are the same suspension wise im pretty sure. had a series 1 - 4 door and used the suspension from it on my new series 2 - 2 door cant comment on non turbo though, quick search might help with that though

Item 1: I have for sale 1 set of r33 coilpacks from a 1996 r33 gtst series 2 Coilpacks were working fine. i even coated them with silicone just to be double sure Price: $150 Item 2: Turbosmart boost Tees (two of them) these type: Price: $50 each Item 3: JJR split dump/front pipe - for r33 gtst. had this on my r33 four door until it was written off. has a few dints on the bottom from car being too low other than that pretty good nick Price: $120 Item 4: R33 stock side mount intercooler with shroud. Price: $50 Item 5: R33 gtst stock front and rear swaybars Price: $30 each Item 6: R33 stock Dump pipe (Have 2) one with o2 sensor and im pretty sure one has front pipe also. one still has heat shielding on it Price: $50 each Item 7: Greddy copy plenum (chinese type) comes with all bolts, nipples fitting etc. no throttle body adapter (can be had for $90) I started to clean up the runners a little then my dremel decided not to work. Price: $400 Item 8: Greddy Turbo Timer. comes with manual and plugs that connect to the back of the turbo timer itself. loom has been cut when taken out of the car. simple job to extend them again with some new wire same as this one but black. Dunno if there is a fulcrum suspension down south. but i just received a quote from them today and part of it was Rear diff pinion mount kit - $61.78c Dan at elite racing does the whiteline pineapples for about $90ish i think. can also be had from ebay

too easy i'll give em a call today sometime. so you basically just cut the rod and the ball ends just screw back on? Its threaded all the way? when i first looked i thought you would need to cut it then weld the 2 ends back on haha

sweet good find. might get some of those instead of the pricey whiteline gear. any idea of cost on those universal ones?

my sway bar links are actually bent (well one of them) on my gtst. Luckily whiteline do a link kit for gtst so ill be getting some soon. i didnt find anything for gtr whilst doing my search unfortunately. Maybe the gtst ones could be modified a little? OR find some from a wrecked car or similar and have new bushes installed from the above post?

Yeah there is a gap in the traffic island where you can turn. I dont know names of streets or anything around here either haha. I pretty much know how to get to that driveway and get out to the highway (just moved here) My car has no wing though... so i dont know what wing you saw? :S haha But it seems too much of a coincidence that a metallic green skyline turned into a dirt driveway on middle rd for it not to be me haha
