    Stolen

Thanks everyone. I haven't noticed a black jazz around. But you don't really look or think about that sort of thing day to day. I was in my house (20 metersish from where car was parked) girlfriend or I didn't hear a thing, neither did any neighbours. They smashed a window to get it in as well. Car was alarmed but out of action getting new remotes. Wish I had of got around to that quicker:( It's a hidden away suburban street with another 10 cars parked outside at any given time. Must of been sussing it for a while I guess

    Stolen

Hey. Never thought this would be me doing one of these posts... but guess what? I am My car 1999 Nissan Skyline R34 GT-T was stolen last night between the hours of 10pm - 8am Car is pretty standard looking. GReddy front mount Volk GT-C's CES exhaust couple of scrapes on the front bar around number plate area greddy profec b boost control on top of steering column are probably the main stand out points - car was kept on brisbane southside (mount gravatt area) If anyone sees or hears anything please call the police. or give me a call on 0422 850 698 Hopefully i can get it back. Cheers Steve
  4. Are there any rattles in the auto controller? Mines got a horrible rattle that i can't seem to stop been meaning to replace it for agesss. Are they hard to swap out?
  5. Take the snorkel to a plastic welder get them to modify it so it fits with that annoying pipe going over the radiator. then refit it. apparently has been done before... ive been meaning to look into it for ages
  6. What about relocating the stock BOV? difficult to plumb back in? or do most people go aftermarket VTA with these plenums?
  7. You should get Damien at katsutadai works to make your exhaust. mate has one on his chaser and it sounds beautiful. quite when cruising and loud and raw when you give it a little. Quality is pretty amazing too. He's in Brisbane. but I'm pretty sure he can make them up and send it to you.
  8. Thanks mate. It's a daily so dont really take wheels off that much. and for $40 all up its not a huge lose if a wreck them.
  9. That $264ea was an email quote from TSR. I'll probably take mine out of the car and go see them sometime next week. Fulcrum wont rebuild anything that isnt tein. Never ever again will I buy 2nd hand coilovers
  10. my greddys have the same problem (rear passenger) its a very loud clunk (knocking) sound when going over certain bumps. would also like to know if i can check anything else. fulcrum said its definatly the shock but at $264 a side to get them rebuilt I wanna make sure
  11. Yeah Taleb got back to me and say that their $30 ones will fit. So looks like thats what I'll be getting.
  12. Well right now they all are beginning to rust. Which I can see quite clearly. Sometimes it's the little touches that make a car just that little bit nicer.
  13. I'm chasing some internal drive wheel nuts that will fit Volk GT-c wheels. My searches on the interwebs and ebay are not proving to be very fruitful. I even stopped into bob jane this afternoon - They had them but were just the plain old silver/chrome, non lightweight and wanted $75 for 20. I thought for that price I might be able to get something nicer anodized ones or something. Anyone know where i can pick these up? BTW... I'm not really interested in paying $280 odd dollars for genuine rays or anything. Cheers
  14. I take it they arent the sydneykid bilsteins? what are the model numbers on them? Cheers
  15. I put the greddys in over the weekend. To be honest I'm not amazed with them. they made a huge difference over my old shagged JIC's but nothing amazing. Maybe because I purchased them second hand they are a bit tired?? had only done roughly 10,000kms apparently but one of the rears seems to have a knock occasionally. I have noticed that turn in is a lot sharper now and car seems to want to over steer more. car is also flatter around bends and slightly more even. It still gets a bit uneven at the rear around corners so I'm hoping sway bars will fix that issue. There is a huge amount of adjustability also 32 clicks I think. So I'm still playing with that also Car is booked at fulcrum on Thursday to have height adjusted, front/rear sway bars, castor bushes, subframe lock and alignment all done So i'd say go with the BC's and buy new unless you can get the greddy's cheap new (having said that I've never ridden in a car with BC's) Will let you know how it feels after fulcrum check it out, maybe some bushes are worn out and things will improve.
  16. got the greddy's today. so i'll put them in on the weekend and let you know how they feel.
  17. I'll take the Door shades I'm in brisbane so can pick up whenever. Cheers Steve
  18. Just bought greddy type s for my r34. Once they are in i'll let you know how they are
  19. ahh you were the one I was thinking of with the Heasemans and bilsteins. so i've ended up buying a set of greddy type S coilovers and will be ordering 24mm front and 20mm rear adjustable bars So i'll have new adjustable castor arms, alloy subframe mounts, solid steering rack bush, swaybars and new coilovers all going in soonish should be fun What holes do you generally have your swaybars set on front and rear Harey?
  20. Give heasmans in Sydney a call mate. Apparently they still have limited stock of the sydneykid kit available. (another member on here picked some up not long ago) Seems i've decided to grab some greddy type s that came up for sale on here. little bit less messing around and a bit cheaper than buying new - and from all i've heard are a great coilover even on the street. Now it is just decided what swaybars I want. ie: what size front and rear and whether I want adjustable or not. Anyone feel like chipping in on that front?
  21. Did you ever run any more than 12psi through it? Reason why you only ran 12psi? What are these usually capable of?
  22. hey, I'm about to do a suspension upgrade on the R34 GTT and I can't decide between a few things. Basically the car is a daily driver so I want comfort but i want to be able to go for a run through the hills or to the track if i ever wanted. so I'd ideally like a spring/shock combo with sway bars. I've seen this on the old ebay: http://cgi.ebay.com.au/Nismo-R34-upgrade-S...=item335f0b9e27 Has any had experience with this? is it worth it? seems cheap. Otherwise I was thinking either KYB/King springs combo or bilstein/king spring combo with whiteline sway bars. Otherwise there is the possibility of BC coilovers with softer spring rates perhaps. Budget is $1500 - $2500 What spring shock combo should i choose? what size sway bars front and rear? I know this has been asked 11billion times before but I'm still unsure on what to get. Cheers
  23. yeah post up a price. Could be keen also Pictures if possible as well please.
