Tein Monoflex Or Cusco Zero 2e?
THIRTY33 posted a topic in Suspension, braking, tyres and drivetrain
Hey guys, Ive been looking into possibly getting some coilovers, and am looking at the Tein Monoflex and Cusco Zero 2E's. The car will be driven on the street, but plan to do some track work in the future. Would just like to see what you think of these two set ups and any other suggestions, recommendations would be great! Cheers -
Thanks mate, Yeah im glad I decided to get them in the end, at first I was going to get Black Bee*R B5's but then found that they were discontinued and that there not forged. Just have to wait for them to arrive now

Looks fantastic mate!! Something a bit different and unique! Beautiful -
Just ordered them on sat... I ended up going 18x8.5 +22 18x9.5 +22 Bronze. The back will definately need some pumping and maybe also a bit at the front. Heres a pic of my car, should look something like this (dodgy Paint Shop Pro)

Hi guys, Thanks for the replys. hawker05: I agree with you about going something more like +30,+28,+25 for the rear but for 18x9.5 TE37's there is no offset between +22 and +35. I think +22 may stick out a bit too much, but would have the aggressive look.... I was also thinking about 9" wide but in 18's there is ONLY +40 Anyway here is the TE37 size sheet, if any one has any other ideas.. Cheers

Hi guys, I'm looking at buying some new wheels and am thinking about getting some TE37's. The sizes I have chosen are (F)18x8.5 +22 and ®18x9.5 +35. My question is, what will these wheels actually look like? As in the angle of the spokes? Will they be tapering inwards slightly (similar to a GTR offset but not as aggressive) or will they be totally flat faced? ?????????????????????????????????? Cheers

Correct Offset?

Awesome rims man! Beautiful Thinking about getting some of these soon. I have read somewhere that these are able to be ordered in satin black? Is anyone able to confirm this? Cheers -
Yeah, ive asked them to quote me for a few bits and pieces and the price including shipping seems to be pretty good. Just want to be sure about them before I go ahead and give them my money

Wheel Sizes & Offsets For Skylines
THIRTY33 replied to Sydneykid's topic in Suspension, braking, tyres and drivetrain
Hi guys, Just wondering how 18x9 +25 front and 18x10 +25 rear would fit on a R33 GTS-T? How much modification to the guards would be needed, a bit of rolling, possibly some wider front guards? I have seen these sizes and offsets fitted to a 180sx which I believe has 25mm wider front guards and rolling done on the rear. They fit nicely, stick out a bit at the rear end. I would imagine an R33 would have more room under the guards than a 180sx, especially at the back? Cheers -
Hi guys, Just looking into getting a short shifter and was wondering if anyone has used the C's copy from drift shop? A genuine C's shifter is between $350-400. The Drift Shop copy is $149. Is it worth paying the difference for a genuine? If anyone has fitted one please give me sum feed back. Drift Shop C's Design Shifter Cheers

Hey Kermit, Just wanted to see how much it would be to have a full turbo back exhaust 3.5 inch made up for a 95' R33 gtst , including a screamer pipe and cat replacement pipe? Cheers
-
Hi guys, Thanks for all the nice comments! Firstly I'm only 17 and will hopefully have my license soon lol. Ive been working and saving hard for about 2 years, and owning a skyline has been my dream for a long time, which has finally come true The car is a 1995 R33 GTS25T Series 1.5. As for plans, at the moment I would like to get a nice set of rims probly some volks, a full turbo back exhaust and a better stereo system as the car is COMPLETELY STOCK. In the future I would like to either go a Tomei 2.8L stroker with the RB25 or do a RB30 bottom end with a 25 head. I'm thinking the Tomei stroker cos I'd like to see how far the RB25 head and block can go. We will see what happens, other than that all the other usual mods. Once again thanks for all the nice comments, I look forward to meeting you guys and learning lots off you ob1: Just Car insurance
