After 3 skylines I have turned to the dark side and gone for a Toyota Caldina 200+ kw turbo awd. This is the first one in SA and the first N series in Australia. Will be here in 2 months so say gday on the road. Update - hmm i hear you all, here are some more pics. It has lots of cool gear on it. Factory recaro interior and then there is a lot of TRD gear on it.

hmm ive read nothing but stolen r32/33/34's for months, now ive heard knife point car jackings and ram raids for a skyline. I would rather have a caldina with the same power as a skyline but without all the bullshit any day.. And they look tough. you know you can get up to a 2007 model one of these. Yes the Iron Chef has a couple but they are pre 2002.

I have had 3 skylines .. a 33 series 1 a 33 series 2 and an r34 gtt. Love the fact that they are 206 kw factory... hate the fac that someone wants to steal them every chance they can. Insurance is expensive, some ppl dont even have insurance. But where are you going to get a car with style with the following options; 200kw factory AWD Smooth look and feel...all the fruit you need! 4 Cylinder turbo, cheap to run, insure and register.... Yeah done my homework, echacnge rate is cracker at the moment, I want an M35 AXis, 2.5 v6 turbo, leather and all the fruit. 2003 model is fine, cant import o4 onwards because of new emmision ratings yet to be approved here in oz. been scanning auctions and checking results... bbbrrrring it on. yeah its an M35 stagea 3.0 litre v6 turbo, getting an axis version... because there is like 10 different models.

Dont laugh the corolla sportivo has a vvti enging developed by yamaha that revs to 8800 and produces close to 150 kw, it is a bit like driving a turbo engine, from 5800 to 8 grand it freaks out. Anyways i didnt thrash mine, why bother? Mind you for 65 bucks i am getting up to 700kms...that wont happen in an r35...

After a long hiatus of selling my midnight purple r34 GTT, having kids and buying a F*&^ing corolla sportivo, I just cant take it any more. The Sportivo is gunna be sold - dont get me wrong, fun cars rev to 9 grand and nearly 150kw of power. (anyone keen for one let me know its a 2003 model, silver, leather, 6 speed - all the fruit. and 70,000kms..18 grand ) And I am getting an M35 Stagea wagon, need a turbo under my foot, cant cope anymore even if fuel prices are high so what. Its a family cruiser, but a 206kw sleeper. Will look like this one or it may be this one. Thank god im back in a LINE.... Pimp my wagon i say.

Im still alive, bought my r34 in Melbourne, it was resprayed GTR purple in Japan, I think its up north of SA now and its still around in one peice which is good to hear. As for me Ive bought a corolla sportivo... now before you laugh I get 720 KMs to a tank and it has 150 kw from factory... check out how they go here. Cell (Damian)

What with fuel $1.60 plus per litre, anti hoon laws and expensive insurance i will leave the imports alone for a while, plus i have a kid now. I bought a Corolla Sportivo, zippy little number and i fill up for 50 bucks and it last me nearly a month!!!! For the same amount of k's in my 34 it would have been $250 easy.

I sold it last year "sigh" just wondering if its still in SA?

32's look beeter with a 34 front end on them... 33's dont quite cut it me thinks.
