As the title says, im wondering what knock levels are safe. i know that over 40 isnt good. My car when driving normal is around 15 to 22 but when i give it to it a bit around 30 - 35 and on the odd occasion it hits 50 - 60 ( only in 4th gear going up hill). Now if in you opinion if it is not safe should i take timing out or drop more fuel in where the cells are getting hi knock levels?
