yeah you know never know they might say something ridiculous like "the sub could fly around the car and hit the driver in the head and cause an accident" so i would just make sure it's secured
easy tiger everything takes time yeah its slow at times but thats just the way it goes after all there is alot of people applying for permits, engineers going through 5-10 cars daily etc thats just the price you pay i guess for owning an import(modified vehicle) you need to be prepared to have these hiccups. It sucks thats for sure but at the end of the day its your car and you choose what you drive
Nice 1 mate good to see people are getting through easier at times, all up to your car really mechanically A1(roadworthy) leads to less dramas at the pits
hi guys&girls am looking to find out what watt/voltage bulbs are used for all lights (front, rear, reverse, indicators) dont have a r33 gtst manual have tried my mate google couldnt find anything if someone knows, info would be appreciated.
Cheers.
Also they arn't rumours mate people have gone through the pits and these are there experiences, it may help in a way it may not the person wont know till they take the car down to the pits but members are supposed to post there experiences and thats all thats going on in this thread no need for saying people on here are dishing out rumours, when all they are trying to do is help a member out.
yes im going through the process of getting my car registered as it is unregistered, need stock parts put back(suspension etc),cat is a must, i would not let it get unregistered keep it registered and just try getting it through the pits (if your car is mechanically a1 there shouldn't be a problem) its just if you have aftermarket gear would be easier getting through with stock parts.
hmm it does suck big time, after market ecus need to be emission tested whats the ecu got to do with emissions isnt that exhaust related? i got the forms for modifications to fill out today, i guess il just fill that out see what the go is put all stock shit on, so does that mean you would need a permit for a power fc or any other aftermarket ecu?
Hi this topic may have been covered but i am yet to find any info on these forums. I am looking at getting my r33 registered (has been registered in wa before, complied etc), it has aftermarket gear on it but the main thing concerning me is the coilovers(height, damper adjustable)? i have heard people have trouble taking cars through the pits with adjustable coilovers has anyone recently had any experience with the pits regarding this issue? i am thinking off putting stock suspension on it but dont really want to go spending money if i can still go through the pits with coilovers.
Any info would be appreciated Cheers.
haha just called up ovaboost they charge $100-$120 to fit the 040 and the pump is $200 so thats still cheaper, but i dont know what the ratings off the tomei 1 are but im sure they are a good pump any ways going with 040 thanks for the input dudes look out for a r33 with a 040 on the street soon LOL just kidding
cuts and fuel (niiiiiiiiiiiiiiice) haha, yeah i get ya would be easier to install the tomei by sounds of things, if i go with bosch 040 just probably take it in to a workshop to fit it saves me the effort will ring a few workshops later see what the prices are like for fitment.
yeah i read somewhere there is a guide on how to install a fuel pump on here? not sure where now lost the thread, but if they are direct intank replacement yeah most probably going to go for the 040
what are the tomei pumps rated at? (hp) looking for something around the 350rwhp-400rwhp mark in tank though so most probably leaning towards the 040 pump. Also where did you get the tomei pump from? how much?
