Ahhh SR20DET maybe but in the specs he mentioned that engine was SR20DE in the very first post. I only looked at pics and didn't really read much of the actual thread

Just out of interest do you know if GT Auto makes thoses surge tank set ups off the shelf now or just car by car so to speak?

This would be a great package to punt around and QR's back straight would let you get a big head of steam up so definitely bigger brakes there lol

Its a bit hit and miss coz some people have no issues with my set up (similar setups) but others have had heaps it makes angry lol i wish cars were an exact science sometimes
Yea i know i was getting told that until the guy tuning my car showed me 3 other GTR's in the shop that had just been tuned. 2 with T04z's and a then one with a GT3582 same as mine running 6 boost mani's with the gate off the manifold. All running tial 44's and the boost line on those were almost flat
Its a tial 44mm and it was screamer and we dropped the screamer pipe off the gate completely to see if it was a restriction but it wasn't. Tried a Turbosmart 45mm gate with the same result. had the turbo inspected and all is well. Plumbed in new vac feed with larger vac line and still no boost control
I can't complain with my ETM set up only issue is it has a major boost spike. Goes from 15 to 24psi. Mine is plumbed off the housing not the manifold and the only thing anyone can tell me is that its where the gate hase been plumbed in
It will be coming off soon to go back and run a conventional off the manifold set up
I think its alot better than the standard twins in terms of off boost torque, even now it still has good low end urge and top end torque is still damn impressive. the last time it was on the dyno it was making peak torque by about 5-5300rpm
I am not running any form of boost controller other than the wastegate itself. It is a sigle entry so no split pulse for me lol. Well its a little disapointing as i am having a boost control issue basically which limits my power run to 5000rpm before it spikes (due to where gate is plumbed in) However with no timing and running to around 5000rpm or so its ramping up to 278rwkw before it takes off with boost.
Keep in mind due to this the tune is no where near as good as what it could be so given its performance with no timing etc i was assured around 300-330rwk on 1bar boost. I am running a ViPec plug in ecu and the engine is completely standard ie no cams etc. Custom made 3in dump and front and rest of exhaust is 3.5in with no mufflers in sight
As above the police up here are relatively fair but won't hesitate to slap you with a hefty fine if its due.
