Hi All, This is my Grandmothers car and she bought this brand new back in 1983, so it is a one owner car with original paperwork, books etc. Still in very good condition, this is a perfect car for a fan of the classic Skyline. But would also suit a first car buyer or anyone else with an appreciation of the older style cars. Make: Nissan Model: Skyline Year: 1983 Engine: L24E 6 Cylinder Trans: 3 Speed Auto Factory features: - Air conditioned - Power Steering - Electric Windows - Central Locking - AM/FM Radio with Cassette Player Points to note: - One Owner - Bought new in 1983 - Original Books - Original body work (no accident history) The car is being sold with no RWC as I just do not have time to get it done. I have had the RWC check done and it needs the following: - Windscreen (approx $250) - Windscreen Wipers (approx $30) - Tyres (approx $320) - Battery Clamp (approx $10) - Idler Arm (suspension) (approx $50) - Tie Rod Boots x 4 (approx $40) - Front Sway Bar Bushes x 8 (approx $30) ...there may be less to do, depending on who does your RWC, but this gives you a good idea of the main requirements that have been pointed out to me. So it would probably cost about $1,000 to have a mechanic do this for you. This car drives absolutely great, so I can only imagine how much better it would be with the new tyres. It is really smooth and plush. Everything works great, including the A/C and Electric Windows. The interior is great except for small wear on the drivers seat. Very retro and very cool !! I would love to keep it myself but just do not have the room. Feel free to come and have a look and drive, you will be impressed. $1,900 or best offer. http://www.carsales.com.au/private/details/nissan-skyline-1983-12641504?base=1216&vertical=Car&eapi=2&page=1&sort=~Year&cr=0&__N=1246%201247%201252%201282%204294963846%204294963593%201216&silo=Stock&Range=Price:Min,Max~0.5

HIRISK replied to HIRISK's topic in Classic & Vintage (1950's-1980's)
Guys, Now for sale for $1,900 with no RWC. The RWC check has been done and it needs about a $1,000 of work. http://www.carsales.com.au/private/details/nissan-skyline-1983-12641504?base=1216&vertical=Car&eapi=2&page=1&sort=~Year&cr=0&__N=1246%201247%201252%201282%204294963846%204294963593%201216&silo=Stock&Range=Price:Min,Max~0.5 Cheers, Shaun. -

I was thinking around there. Probably not the most desireable classic. -
Hey Guys, Thanks for all the input and feedback. I have decided that the only way I will get a good car is to not compromise. So, for me, this means I have to stay firm to exactly what I want and just wait patiently for the right car to come up. I have decided on a 2001 / 2002 Bayside Blue V-Spec II Lets see how long this takes.

Thanks for the reply. For me, condition will be very important as it will only get driven once a week and I am very particular when it comes to how clean my cars are. Also, interesting to see you say it took 3 to 4 months to find the right car. I was not sure how long it would take, but thought it may be a while. I know there are 30 plus 34 GTR's on Carsales right now (aust wide) but only a handful would suiot my needs. If it is going to take that long I better get looking!!

Hi Guys, So I am about to get the ball rolling on an R34 GTR and want to take my time, look around and get the right car. I am looking at spending $55 to $60k. I am still in two minds as to whether I would rather a 99/00 V-spec with some mild mods, wheels, suspension etc or go for a 01/02 V-Spec II with few or no mods (this is probably my preferance). Anyway, my questions are.... Do people feel they get a better car at a better price by going through an importer? Or is buying local just as good? (as their are usually 20 to 30 R34 GTR's for sale at any given time) I guess I am swaying towards a V-Spec II moreso and as their are only 4 or 5 for sale at the moment, thought that using an importer may open this selection up more? Thoughts and advice would be appreciated. Cheers.

Rims- What Are Some Nice Black Rims?
HIRISK replied to Nick.'s topic in General Automotive Discussion
Their are a few nice sets released recently, but most of them are limited run time attack models. Buddy Club just released a limited run of P1 Racing SF Time Attac but you can actually just order the SF in plain black (no red edge) and this is not a limited mdel so is easier to get. Go to http://www.buddyclub.com.au/2007/p1r_sf/p1r.html for the normal black and see the image below for the Time Attack version. You could also look at the Rays G-Games 77W in Time Attack colour: http://rayswheels.co.jp/cgi-bin/cgi2/engli...p;model=090_77M -
Hi Guys, I am just trying to work out what model BNR34 GTR matches what front bar. I have seen a number of different variations and would love to work out what were standard from the factory or possibly factory options. From what I can see, they kind of go as follows: Stock BNR34 GTR V-Spec / V-Spec II Nur / M-Spec (exactly same as V-Spec) Now, these two are the ones that I am not sure about. Where they factory options or bought and added later?? Notice the twin oil cooler outlets that are only on the passenger side Is this one a Nismo option?

KYOSHO MAD FORCE RCX EDITION Limited Edition 1/8 scale Monster Truck PLEASE EMAIL ME WITH ANY TRADE OFFERS AS I AM DEFINATELY PREPPARED TO TRADE FOR A NICE 1/8 BUGGY OF SIMILAR VALUE. CLICK HERE - KYOSHO MAD FORCE RCX Kyosho Mad Force "RCX Edition" Monster Truck. This is a limited model that Kyosho released to celebrate the launch of the RCX Expo in the United States. This model was only released in limited numbers and is no longer available for purchase new. I bought this truck BRAND NEW for $680 from Tower Hobbies only 6 weeks ago, this did not include even the servos or paint for the body (TOWER HOBBIES - RCX ). As this is the 3rd Monster Truck I have owned in a row, I now would like a change to a 1/8 Buggy. I am looking to get a Mugen MBX5, Kyosho Kanai II or OFNA Hyper7. The RCX is an upgraded version of the ever popular MadForce. It comes with many additions to make it a super tough, super fast truck. Here is a list of the editions added by Kyosho to the RCX: Universal Center Shaft Special Manifold Hard Side Plate Under Plate Double Shock StayUltra Soft Springs Special Steering Rod Set O.S..21RG Engine Mount Bell Guide Aluminum Steering Crank One of the most important upgrades to this Truck would have to be the addition of the ever popular and super reliable O.S. Max .21RG (P)-X rear exhaust (shown below), with pull start, air filter and slide valve carburetor. This motor has only had 4 litres INCLUDING BREAK IN run through it. It really has only been tuned for more power in the last two or three tanks. Here are some photos of the actual Truck that is up for auction. Note the custom Metallic Purple paint work which includes Pearl Purple Flames. PLEASE NOTE: This auction is for everything you see in the above photos. There is NO radio gear (tranmitter and receiver) included. You will need Radio Gear to operate this truck. Servo's, however, ARE included. This is ideal for some one looking to upgrade their current ride, but retain there own radio gear. RADIO AND RECEIVER CAN BE ORGANISED: I have a virtualy brand new Airtronics MX3 FM 3 Channel controller and receiver and would be willing to sell these with the Truck for an additional $100 on top of the final price. SHIPPING and PAYMENT: I will ship worldwide. Please email me for shipping cost's. I prefer Paypal or Bank Deposit for payment and will ship the truck the SAME DAY payment is made. Feel free to email me at any time with questions. My email is [email protected] Thanks, Shaun. [email protected] 0411 753 501

OS Giken Triple plate clutch to suir R32 GTR
HIRISK replied to HIRISK's topic in For Sale (Private Car Parts and Accessories)
I will have to check for you Gav. It came from a 93 GTR, but I will double check and let you know. It all depends on what power your car is putting out. The 32 it was in has a Trust T78 and was making upwards of 360rwkw, so this power and a strong clutch will break boxes. If your car makes a power level that can be sustained with a standard box, this clutch will be fine.
