Hi Guys, I have a complete RB26DETT motor from an R32 GTR for sale which requires a rebuild. It comes with everything except Airflow meters and Computer!! This includes the Plenum, Injectors, Fuel Rail, Throttle Bodies, Head, Block, Turbos, Everything!! This motor would suit someone who is looking at doing an RB26 conversion into their GTS, VL, R31 etc. Or even go all out and bolt all the RB26DETT parts onto an RB30 bottom end!! $2,950 ono. Thanks, Shaun. 0411 753 501 [email protected] (nightime home email) [email protected] (daytime work email)

HIRISK replied to HIRISK's topic in For Sale (Private Car Parts and Accessories)
Thanks for the advice Evan. I spoke to Subzero about this and they also know of this. They actually use all my bits and piecs and bolt them all up to the R33 Block and Head. Thanks, Shaun. -
R32 GTR with damaged engine
HIRISK replied to HIRISK's topic in For Sale (Private Car Parts and Accessories)
OK Guys, Here's the deal. I am going to give it until next weekend to try and sell the car as it is. If I still have had no luck by then, I will be putting a new motor in it and selling it as an 11 second GTR, running and complete. For anyone that is looking at buying the car as it is, I can help them get it back up and running or you can take care of this your self. I can suggest a couple of options for anyone who may be interested in the car but is unsure of the cost involved in getting it on the road again. OPTION 1 (used engine): I can get you in touch with someone who has a used RB26 in good condition for $5,000. You can put this motor in the car and then sell the damaged RB26 that comes out of it. OPTION 2 (rebuilt engine): I spoke with SUBZERO in Queensland and they will do a swap on the damaged RB26 for a freshly rebuilt RB26 for $5,500. The new engine is an R33 RB26 fully rebuilt with all new parts, including Racing Spec Rings and Bearings. I am preppared to sell the car as it is with the damaged engine for $28,000 FIRM or I can take all the aftermarket parts off the car and return it to stock standard form and then I would want $25,000 FIRM. Thanks, Shaun. (contact details in first post at start of thread) -
R32 GTR with damaged engine

Any offers?? I am flexible with the price. I can organise a full rebuild with oversized pistons etc. for around the $4,000 to $5,000 mark. Once rebuilt you will end up with a very fast and very reliable car for a very reasonable price. Anyone interested in the HKS2530's - CLICK HERE -

I can't really afford the rebuild and would like a break from the car scene for a while. If anyone is interested in the car, I can also source them a set of low kilometer, good condition HKS GT2530's at a good price. These would be perfect to bolt to the side of a freshly built RB26. Shaun. -
Hi guys, Unfortunately I have had an electronic failure within my car, I believe it was one of the Airflow meters, which has caused pistons 4,5 and 6 to lean out and die. This is due to the fact that the standard computer runs the motor as two bank of 3 cylinders and each A/F meter controls one bank of 3 cylinders each. Unfortunately I can't afford the rebuild and am looking at having a break from cars for a while. I am the only owner this car has had in Australia since it's purchase in September last year. When I bought the car it was in completely standard and original condition. It has always been garaged and I have always taken great care of her. Photo's here: Shauns GTR Details: 10/92 Build. White in colour. 75,000 k's. Serviced every 5,000k's using full synthetic oil. Just had Front Diff, Rear Diff, Gearbox and Transfer case fluids changed and also had the 4WD system bled. Mods: Koni adjustable shocks (1 week old) Eibach Springs (1 week old) Trust MX front pipes (1 month old). Hi Flow 3" cat (1 month old). HKS Hiper cat back exhaust (brand new). HKS Cam Gears (1 month old). Trust Airinx Filter Kit. Trust Alloy Gear knob. Trust Alloy Oil Filler Cap. Trust Alloy Radiator Cap. Trust White Faced Boost Gauge. Ultra Turbo Timer. Original Nismo N1 Intercooler Vents (not fitted yet) Exxedy Deiken Heavy Duty 3 Puck Single Plate Clutch (8 months old). EBC Green Stuff Front pads (3 months old). EBC Brake Fluid - Full Flush (3 months old). New Front Bushes. The car was dynoed recently on a Dyno Dynamics rear wheel drive dyno (Race Pace Motorsport) and achieved 240rwkw. I ran it at Heathcote and managed an 11.57 @ 118mph down the quarter. I still have all the original parts including Exhaust, Airbox etc. and would consider selling it in standard form if necessary. If bought as is you will get all the standard parts too. If you are prepared to spend the money to rebuild the car properley, it will be very fast and reliable. I can put you in touch with a very reputable engine builder for this job. I am looking for interest around the $29,500 mark, please ring me to discuss this if you are interested. Any reasonable offer considered Thanks, Shaun. 0411 753 501 [email protected] Nightime home email [email protected] Daytime work email

Hi, There are two places that I would highly recomend as they are experts in this field and will do a great job. 1. Traction Tyres in Rowville. These guys are one of the largest motorsport tyre distributors in Melbourne for Yokohama. They set up a lot of race cars and know there stuff. My GTR is heading in their on Monday for a full alignment. 2. Tru Track in North Melbourne. Speak with Ralph and tell him Shaun from GT Sports sent you. He deals with a lot of modified and lowered cars and is very well known in Melbourne for knowing his stuff. He will make sure your car is spot on!! Hope this helps, Shaun.

You will notice that the R33 GTSt system goes into a single pipe just before the Cat, where as the 'Full Dual' I pictured on page one of this thread is for a GTR and is dual the whole way. Here is a more technical diagram.....
-
Hey YESEVO, Good Call!! I have not seen one of those in years!! I forgot that they even used to make them. Not a bad exhaust. Skyline33, Yes, I can get you a Kakimoto R 'Hyper 2000 FullMega Dual' exhaust system for the R33 GTSt. One problem though, it is very expensive!! As this exhaust is made completely from Stainless Steel and there are two lots of pipes and two mufflers, it really bumps up the price. I can get one landed in Oz for about $2600. The exchange rate is a bit crap at the moment too, this does not help.
-
Skyline33, You say in your first post that this exhaust is for an R33 GTSt......have a look at the front pipes, they are GTR. This is a GTR exhaust.
-
Well the badge says it is made by HKS, so it looks like I was wrong in saying they never made a dual muffler exhaust system. But I have not seen them sell this on the market and it does look a little old. Maybe it was built by HKS to a customer's own specs? I don't understand why you are still asking what model it is if you can see the badge has it clearly marked as a HKS item? As for it being one of the best you have seen, you should have a look at the Kakimoto R dual exhaust....that is absolute quality!!
-
Their is actually a Trust exhaust that has dual tips, but they are not connected to mufflers like the one in your photo.....the single muffler is located further back under the car. This is the Trust 'dd Mufler' system.
-
No, HKS do not and never have made a dual muffler exhaust. They do sell one exhaust that has twin tips, but it still is only a large single muffler exhaust. Hope this helps.
-
skyline33, There are only a few Japanese companies that make a "dual" exhaust sytem, the ones that I know of are..... APEXi - Dual N1 (not available anymore). KAKIMOTO R - Hyper 2000 Fullmega N1 Dual. VEILSIDE - Pro Drag Exhaust (don't think it still available). It is not any of the above, so could be custom or a brand I have not seen. Thanks, Shaun.

Hi Guys, The time has come to part with my loved GTR. I am the only owner this car has had in Australia since it's purchase in September last year. When I bought the car it was in completely standard and original condition. It has always been garaged and I have always taken great care of her. Details: 10/92 Build. White in colour. 74,000 k's. The car was dynoed recently on a Dyno Dynamics rear wheel drive dyno (Race Pace Motorsport) and achieved 240rwkw. I ran it at Heathcote two weeks ago and managed an 11.57 @ 118mph down the quarter. I still have all the original parts including Exhaust, Airbox etc. and would consider selling it in standard form if necessary. If bought as is you will get all the standard parts too. I am considering an S15 200SX so if their is anyone out there with a nice S15 that wants a GTR, lets talk, as I would seriously consider a swap. I am looking for offers around $36,0000. This includes a RWC. Any enquiries can be directed to either my mobile on 0411 753 501 or my email at [email protected] Thanks, Shaun.

Type R Recaro Seats x 2 red

Ice, It's Shauny.....give me a call when you get a chance. I think these seats would look nice in my GTR!! 0411 753 501. -
Hey INASNT, Nope, my factory computer has just had the Rev and Speed limit removed. It has a "Yellow Hat" sticker on it which is a Jap parts company. It may have been remapped by them, I am not sure. But even if it has been remapped, it still runs at very similar mixtures than most stock GTR's that I have seen on the dyno. I am sure that it is just the Rev and Speed limit that is removed. I don't have a fuel pressure reg either, all stock items. My injectors are right on their limit though and I am sure the turbos would be too. Hey STUGTR, Yeah, I have a Exeddy Diken Three Puck Single plate with heavy duty pressure plate. Awesome clutch.....has not let me down yet!! You can see my mods here...... http://forums.skylinesaustralia.com/showth...=&threadid=1335 Thanks, Shaun.

Hey s13drifter, Yeap, my car has a completely stock motor, including stock turbos, injectors, fuel pump, intercooler etc. I bought my car in September last year and drive it very hard. I go cruising once a week with a club that I am involved in and have atleast 2 or 3 runs on these nights......all of which involve 6000rpm dumps and then 8500rpm gear shifts. The extra reving helps as you will then enter the next gear in the middle of it's power band. Even though over about 7850rpm my car starts to loose power, the torque of the GTR will keep it pulling to a certain extent. I have recently upped the power on my car with a few mods and ran an 11.57 at Heathcote on Sunday. The motor pulled 240rwkw on a the dyno that all the guys in Vic just had their cars done on and the motor is still very strong and compression is still up. I am running 1.2 bar all day, everyday and do a good 500k's a week. The GTR is a very strong car and can take a real beating. I am out to prove this!! Shaun.
-
I shift at no more then 3,000 when the car is cold. I shift at around 4,000 to 4,500 for normal city driving. I shift at around 8,000 to 8,750 when drag racing, depends on what gear I am in to how far I take it.
-
Guys, I have updated my details at the start of this thread. I ran the car at Heathcote today and got an 11.57 @ 117.89mph. Shaun.

Hi Guys, I have a virtualy brand new Buddy Club Spec III Cat Back Exhaust System for sale. It is for an R32 GTR. This exhaust has had only about three weeks use and is still in absolutely brand new condition. It is full SUS304 stainless steel all the way. It is made of super light weight 0.8mm thick SUS304 material to reduce the overall weight of the system. (only weighs about 7kg) It use's 89.1mm (3.5 inch) size pipe all the way from the cat back and is designed with minimal bends so it is very high flowing. The rear muffler is held by a Band Hook instead of welds so it gives it a full on race look. For more details just click on the Buddy Club link below. (it is in japanese) http://www.first-inc.co.jp/buddyclub/rs_mu...ff/remf_lu4.htm If you would like to read about the exhaust in English just copy the above Buddy Club link and then go into the Alta Vista Translator below. Paste it into the "web site" section towards the bottom of the page and then select "japanese to english" for your translation. Alta Vista Translator New, it cost $1490. I am asking $1050 ono. For more details just give me a call on 0411 753 501 or email me on [email protected] (daytime) and [email protected] (nightime/weekends). Thanks, Shaun.
