  1. Wow, $6k....more than even the genuine Z-tune bonnet....there goes that idea Thanks for the info Bobby, much appreciated.
  2. Cheers, Would love to, but have other priorities with the car at the moment. Need to replace the clutch which will cost me $3k. Out of interest, what Are the dollars on the diffuser? Absolutely love the build by the way, has been great to follow, read and learn. Cheers.
  3. Hi Bobby, Sorry to change topic, but I was wondering how you went about obtaining the Z-Tune carbon diffuser? I have never seen then advertised anywhere? Such a great investment though, truly gives it the finished Z-Tune look that you just do not get with a normal V-Spec diffuser.
  4. Hi Collin, Yes, taking good care of her. Not really going back to 'stock' though, it will be purely from an appearance perspective, that's all. All the good gear is staying on Tomei exhaust manifolds HKS 2530's Trust Intercooler Nismo dump pipes etc etc Just want to reduce the induction noise and make it 'look' stock....."I swear it's stock officer" Just wish I paid the extra dollars and got the Z-Tune bonnet Do you have any parts left over lying around??
  5. Thanks mate, much appreciated. Thanks, I try to keep her clean. I just hope that once I change all the piping in the engine bay back to standard that it will still have the same appeal, I guess the outside wont have changed, but the engine bay is a bit of a centre piece. I have a few ideas on what I can do to jazz it up a bit, but we will see. The parts are on the way from Japan now, so should be installed in the next two weeks.
  6. I have sorted out some AFM's locally, so I am out.
  7. Hi, I know you said won't post, but if you change your mind I will take the last 2 x AFM's off your hands. Just throw them in a padded bag at the local post office and post, won't cost much at all. Let me know if you can and I will arrange payment.
  8. Yeah, correct. My two options would be either the... R-Tune set up (essentially an S-Tune with additional of R-Tune bonnet and R-Tune rear over fenders) Z-Tune set up (essentially an R-Tune with newer Z-Tune front bar and Z-Tune lower lip) The only challenge with the Z-Tune is the lower lip is super expensive and I have not seen any replica versions out their. The good thing with the R-Tune set up is I can do everything except the bonnet to start with and it will still look authentic as an S-Tune, then once the bonnet goes on it becomes authentic to the R-Tune. Z-TUNE SET UP http://www.nismo.co.jp/en/products/competition/ie/r34aero.html - Z-Tune Front Bar - Z-Tune Lower Lip - Z-Tune Front Guards - R-Tune Bonnet - S-Tune Side Skirts (already have) - S-Tune Rear Pods (already have) - R-Tune Rear over fenders (already have) R-TUNE SET UP - S-Tune Front Bar - R-Tune Bonnet - S-Tune Side Skirts (already have) - S-Tune Rear Pods (already have) - R-Tune Rear over fenders (already have)
  9. The choice between S-Tune and Z-Tune is hard, but I am actually tempted to go S-Tune.....there is just so many Z-Tunes getting around now.
  10. Nice photos, thanks. It was a great day today. Dad and I drove down there together, Dad was in his 67 Mustang. Was a good variety of cars on display too. I think I need to give my car the Z-Tune treatment....
  11. While we are focused on brakes and R34 GTR's, here are a few m ore shots of my set up. REAR SET UP: FRONT SET UP:
  12. Lots of porn in this thread.... Makes me want to spend money!!
  13. Good question, no sorry, I am not sure. This shot shows the clearance with the TE37's.
  14. I run Endless 6 piston at the front and Endless 4 piston at the rear. The Volk TE37 in 19 x 10.5 +12 where the only rims that fit over the callipers with no spacers required. Both the SSR SP1 and Work Meister in a 19 x 10.5 required 10mm spacers to clear the front callipers. This all relates to offset though, I am unsure about the overall diameter, but do know that the Enkei NT03 in 18 x 10.5 did actually fit, both offset and diameter wise. Here are some shots of these rims on the car...
  15. And a few more.
  16. A recent shot of mine.
  17. Not much activity from me lately. But I have been scouring the Import Monster website looking for bits and pieces from Japan. I have decided I want to put all of my induction back to standard as I am really chasing... 1) A standard appearance under the bonnet 2) Get rid of the induction noise 3) Get rid of the external vent BOV noise 4) Get rid of the turbo shuffle It is going to be really interesting to see how it drives and how it sounds once all this gear is on. I managed to find everything, even the factory BOV recirculation pipe that goes under the intercooler back across to the intake. I will keep you all posted.
  18. Nah, I work at Carsales and was just playing around with our system and using my car as a test. I have taken it offline now. Would maybe consider it if the price was right, but no, not for sale :-)
  19. Cheers. The Nismo duct is actually made from FRP. Yes, very effective as it is so contoured to fit both entry and exit side.
