I am running 18 x 8 fronts and 18 x 9 rears with 225/40's and 235/40's respectively. The tyres can be bigger on the rear but this size promotes the style of driving I like. Pretty sure you need a 40mm offset on the rears to get a 9" under there nicely.

Bored on a friday nite at the local BP servo hangin with the boys and my 1st car (Torana). Jumped the fence into a trailer rental yard and took a set of rims and tyres from a trailer and bolted them up onto the old school beast. Drove out to the local burnout strip which was a fresh suburb with only a handful of occupants living there. Ended up blowing both donated tyres and my diff. Was changing my mags back on and calling the towie whilst copping abuse from the new inhabitants of the area who were all taking my number plates down but one of them was sticking up for me. The guy was a true champion untill he found out that the wheels were off one of HIS rental trailers. I ended paying for new tyres to go onto the trailer and the towie drove over my letterbox and the old lady's garden bed on the way in the driveway. Bordem leads to f*$ked up situations.

PLEEEAAAASE! Yes there was a lot of water out there which would have helped you 'NAVIGATE' your boat thru the channels but that would'nt be very exciting to watch would it?? :whackit: Hey, do you think we could organise a prawn trauling outing for everyone?? Ha Ha.

Definately bigs cheers going to Oz for organising such a wicked day out. All the no-shows missed out big time.

Ash - Good one man. I did the opposite thing a while ago in a Dato 1600 FJ20T etc etc that I used to own. Had 2 lebo's (no offence to anyone) following me down Parra rd late one week night (was out looking at Skylines) and after a period of time stared getting very close then tailgating me. Before I knew it, they were trying to run me off the road. As I was by myself, there was no way I was going to attempt an outrun down a few back streets. Anyways, after a few kays of this stuffing around we pulled up side by side at an intersection 1st up. I was in the left hand lane that ended and I thought that I would let him go thru 1st and get out of there as their intensions were obvious from the looks I was getting. There was no way they would do anything at present time as there was 2 other car behind us at the lights. We took off and the guy swung the wheel, almost hit me so I snapped 2nd and blasted through the intersection sideways all over the place to get out of there. Next thing I see flashing lights. There was a cop at the other side of the intersection. Now I am waiting on a court date to rid my already tarnished driving record of a 3 point "Burnout" offence. It's not worth stuffing around with these jackasses.

The timed sessions can be a bit of a dilema only cos, to keep things safe, we must run cars in seperate catergories, and allow non timed events for passengers (not allowed to be timed). John's never really out to make money on these days, as it's more of a fun day for him to take out his toy (but I'm sure his wife gives him a bit of ass spanking when they loose money. Maybe that's a good thing ?? )

Dude... Most track days you go to do not include the extras we supply. Normally you pay your money and go. We have professional race driving instructors, race calling, electronic timing equipment, lunch, trophies etc etc. We actually lost a fair amount of money on this day and very rarely is money ever made at any of our track days. Our track days are run to give you the best and safest possible environment to run in. Not just pay your money and get out there. By the way, there was more than enough time for the drivers to run their cars. Knowbody wants to race their flat out every hour of the day. Pity there was more cars in the carpark than out on the track.
