    Slip & Grip

wonder if it would last... looking forwards to the opening
  5. that is very different...
  6. you can buy a belt dressing, mine screetches a little every now and them, just spray a bit of this on, stops it for awhile, then re apply or adjust it. it would probably be better than soap, coke or wd40 etc. because its designed for that exact purpose, conditions the belts too. you can pick i up at supercheap, or maybe autobahn or places alike will stock it.
  7. sticky tapes holding it steady at the moment, i will give it a go tryin to get it off, hopefully i can fix it once i get it off the damn roof...
  8. is that the gap between the plastic arm or the gap between the plastic arm and the roof lining?
  9. if its only the plastics cut them back, i did that for mine (r33 GTST)... better flairing and pumping of guards are expensive, rolling of the guards just end up a mess, you will end up in tears

  12. how do you remove the mirror iv tried and wrecked it
  13. had same problem, had 17inch volk's and couldnt get into drive way, put 20's on and didnt really get much more height, just enought to get in but also i had to put steel plates at the bottom bolted into the ground...
  14. i have the same problem hard to shift into second gear, it feels really tight, i have bought catrol VMX 80 stuff with a tube of nulons G70, read on the forum its a good combination, hopefully i can get it done shortly...
  15. if it wont wash off try using a light cutting compound or cream, then polish afterwards, should get it off, it would only stain the clear coat, just make sure its a light cutting cream or a pre polish cream/compound.
  16. $180 freight is pretty cheap, but is that with insurance? the price is pretty heffty for insurance via some freight companys. couple of years back a guy from here bought his VT wagon back with big chrome wheels, but when it landed here and went to get it, it didnt have the chromies on it!, and the body was covered in gravel dust and scratches... no insurance, nothing could be done... another guy bought a small create with couple of parts for his torana and motor but when he opened it couple of genuine parts, carbs, and i think tunnel ram were gone... no insurance, ouch!
  17. it works out about the same, when travel agents get deals happening, bonus is you get to go away for a weekend, if you have time
  18. it might pay to check the price to melbourne... as it cost alot for freighting to tassie. even though its a short distance, you nearly pay more from melbourne than you pay for an engine (350ci) from the states via sea freight! it is insane it should be cheap to melbourne, get a ute and go pick it up at the depot in melbourne only cost $60 each way for vehicle and a seat ticket for yourself about same. can be done on the weekend.
