  1. iv got 20's with dish on front and different dish on back. Back with fatter tyres, 225's front, with 245's back. no rubbing on guards. i like both the 20 inch look and the deep dish jap rims look, thats why i also have a set of 17" volk racing rims with 245 front and 255's back...
  2. nice
  3. use a foam roller it works a treat. you can get them pretty cheap. you have to make sure you use plenty of mix and rub it in good to avoid bubbles under fibre sheets...
  4. i got mine off ebay ($30 + $10 post)... didnt take long to get it either. you will notice a change in your induction noise when replaced if the element in it at the moment is stuffed...
  5. could be your shocky, mine has a slight creeking noise when jacked up and lowered. jack it up and just check if its leaking anything, or leaving a greasy residue, you might have to take the wheel off for a descent inspection. if your real worried about it pedders do a 32 point steering and suspension safety check for only $16. could be the best thing for you to do. then that will tell you if there is anything wrong or anything that could go wrong. cheers 4drftn
  6. im interested too. pm me when pics are up... cheers 4drftn

the guys down at pro auto in moonah swear by the apexi fc's, the tunner down there is a wizz with the apexi power fc's apparently. If you havent already got one, and you want to use this type of ECU you will have to pre order it. iv been told that they are in short supply in AUS and need to be sent from overseas (could be wrong). my mate ordered one through pro auto a couple of months ago havent yet got it, mind you it cost him an arm and a leg and his left nut to get it. a few guys on this forum may be able to give you a good price on one. this site should help you... http://www.rta.nsw.gov.au/registration/ cheers 4drftn

spot on providing your car you get from the mainland has 3 or more months rego left on it... there is a website i went to that has rego status checks for NSW i used (my car come from sydney) if i can find the site again i will post it up. mind you you must provide the VIN, rego number and engine number for the process to work. depending on where abouts from tassie your at, im a southerner i went to performance automobiles to get mine put over the pits. pro auto may be a good place to get it put over and checked, my mate goes through them, seem to know what they are doing... as they should. when you have put it over the pits you will get a certificate that you will need to take o service tas with the rego papers ect.

if the car comes with rego and it has more than 3 months you have 3 months until you have to get it over the pits. but look into it as it may have recently changed. as far as mods go you shouldnt have any trouble as down here we are nowhere near as stricked as the mainland. my car passed with visual things like pod filter, bigger turbo, lowered, intercooler ect. and sound wise 3inch xforce exhaust system (pretty loud), and atmo bov (pretty loud) ect. mainly just make sure your tyres are good, there are no fluids leaking and your seat belts are in top condition. in other words you should be fine as far as mods go. its always a good idea to check the vehicles registration status, even if you are told its registered and it has a clear title. get registration number, VIN and engine number and check it out before making any advances. have fun! 4drftn

  16. ha, you luv your pod filter then spunky munky..., recently iv replaced the element in my HKS pod and its gone from the sucking sound (because the element was falling apart!) to a deep wurring sound like a ghost . its not an expensive mod, more of a replacement but its something iv been happy with for under $50

  20. found these coil packs on ebay. they are called super spark coils and they say that they give you 10% more spark and they are to suit RB20, RB25 and RB26. at $499 what do you reckon? has anyone else heard or know of anyone using these. they look to me to be similar looking to the JJR packs http://cgi.ebay.com.au/SUPER-SPARK-Coil-Pa...1QQcmdZViewItem
