so... how is a screamer dump pipe different to a dump pipe??? i take it a dump pipe pushes wastegate gases through the exhaust system and the screamer pipe will blow it directly into atmosphere, which would make more power and noise but would be illegal... is that right

is there any brand that anyone recommends like castrol or nulons?

can anyone tell me if they know of anyone or anywhere that supplys reflective/chrome/mirror tint... im after purple chrome/mirror tint. iv seen it on show cars and have rang many places, but they say they dont supply it or fit it because its illegal. (iv also seen it in a gold colour)

wouldnt air/fuel gauge be useful if you have larger injectors, bigger fuel pump ect.?

hi, i noticed my brake fluid is down. i did a search and didnt come up with the info... i noticed on the cap it says dot 3 brake fluid only, but i think some people top up with dot 4... what should i use and what is a good recommended brand... cheers 4drftn

my car pushes 300hp at wheels and i have a walbro 255 lph fuel pump (using 550cc injectors) and its fine to me... i recently replaced it thinking it was faulty but found out after replacing it it was wiring... one thing to remember with the walbro fuel pumps they need more than 12v i think its 13.something with a relay to be running at full compacity, thats where people go wrong and shoot the walbro's down, also there are copys out there that arnt genuine (be aware)... from my experience its a good replacement, and as said above you can get them for $160 delivered and are easy to install make sure you get the right walbro pump for what you need as there are some different ones. you may need to seek pro advice. oh and as far as sound goes. they prime a bit loud but cant hear it running under exhaust note... and give a nice note... noticed changing my walbro with the exact same part number it altered the note (dunno there... may have been because the filter is new and the other was a little grubby and with the newer filter it flows better)...

im not gonna tell you you should do your car harliquin, thought someone would have already said that... if your gonna go white, a custom pearl in it would look trick... like gold or something.

i think everyone may be confused a little... or me , i think he means he wants to have the car looking level, not lower in the back than the front, the guards in the back are different to the front, the front guards are bigger to accomidate turning of the front wheels... so naturally when the car is lowered to level, the back will look lower because the tires/mags will go up inside the guard...

you can go lower with super super low or ultra low king springs, some people say they arnt as nicer ride as the red springs (pedders), more roll, cant see that being the case though... but i dont see why they wouldnt do the job. for a stiffer ride you would have to get tighter shocks or shorter. i have 20inch wheels and lowered, going down some highways with heavy dips in the road cause the front wheels to touch the top plastics in the guard... not a real worrie. what size are your wheels? are you looking at performance like handling or just to look the part? also if you have any intetion on changing your wheels best get the wheels first.

you said out of a car with a series 2 motor... is that rb25 or rb26?

whats it out of? (model, year, motor) because apparently some model skylines have to use 2 of them... im unsure of this can anyone shed some light on this... cheers

yeah i replaced my fuel filter going back about 2 months ago... would the fuel get eaten away that quick? i know the piece of hose between the pump and the bottom part of the bracket might not as it was a bit of left over hose from when i changed my fuel filter... might have to look at that... not looking forwards to taking it back out though my ecu is a microtech LT-8 which controls my fuel and ignition so could be it... sadly i dont have a hand set, but i should be able to take it to a performance place to get it checked out.

hi, i recently replaced my walbro (255 LPH) fuel pump with the same walbro fuel pump (255 LPH) in my r33 (rb25det) and my car is running a little ruff, at idle it would bounce from 800 rpm to 1100, when starting sometimes it would stall or nearly stall, and of a morning (when it is cold) it will idle anywhere between 1500 rpm - 2000 rpm!... replacing the same fuel pump shouldnt change a thing so i thought. and yes the part no. is the same (GSS342). what could it be? any suggestions or info will be great. cheers 4drftn

so is it safe to clean and re-oil my hks element? i read on another topic that the hks elements are throw away and should be replaced every 20,000...

most bodyworks will respray your quarter panel and door and blend it into the guards to get the best result... not many bodyworks (if well known for excellence) will spray door + quarter panel without blending...

found a hole pile of tabacco under my centre console when i was putting my missle switch in for my dual stage boost controller... theprevious owner may have liked the smell or somethin... dunno

im just looking for a new element now and was wondering is there a difference with yellow element and green? is one better than the other? also i notice there is a blue and the packet says "3 layer dry element" take it thats a better one... wouldnt the oiled elements filter better?
