  1. my walbro fuel pump went in my r33 and i want to get a replacement walbro asap, and i cant get to it so im hoping someone knows the size i need for 550cc injectors so i can chuck it in when i get the other one out... cheers
  2. my walbro fuel pump has just crapped itself. im trying to get it out so i can see what sort it is, part no. ect. so i can replace it asap... But! i cant get my fuel cell cap off! its on tight + iv read on a few threads to get a bit of wood and a wooden mallet to hit away at it but the teeth around it have been broken and worn down (looks like the last owner did it that way) is there any way off getting it off? has anyone else had this problem? is there a fuel cell key or something? any info or ideas will be great. cheers
  3. you can use the bumper indicator light wiring and twitch them into your park light wiring... but you will have to cut the wire that makes them illuminate when your headlights come on otherwise they wont work as indicators
  4. park lights
  5. will be interesting to see if the ebay magnetic plug will fit as i might get one myself.
  6. might be an idea to give repco and sparco a call. and ask them. if you give them the correct details they may be able to help, or if you have a local high performance mechanics shop that deal with skylines often they might be able to tell you straight away.
  7. you will probably find out (as i did with my old VS commodore) there will be 3 different ones that are nearly the same... best thing to do would be find a place that sells them and take your plug in to them. otherwise you could get the wrong one. how soon is it needed? i noticed they had them on ebay (magnetic ones) http://search.ebay.com.au/search/search.dl...g&category0= hopes this helps as i am interested in these plugs because the catch small fragments of metal cheers
  8. as skybarge said you can get a pod filter and block up where the bov goes... i at one stage had my bov disabled and with the HKS pod i had a mad flutter sound and loud too... but some people may tell u it can harm your turbo as the flutter sound is air getting pushed back into the turbo and getting cut up...
  9. i recently put an atmo bov on my crossover... car was running pretty crappy, but i went round and tightened and changed my hoses and runs well, but as R31nismoid could make it run poorly, backfire or stall, but if thats the case its a matter of adjusting your driving style to suit...
  10. if they make the turbo spool harder (creating more power) or if the other case where it will make the engine more efficiant (creating more power), i think thats a good mod or extra
  11. but what about people who are running a standard air box or an air induction kit. they still use the blanket/beanie. i have a custom made heat shield around my HKS pod filter to stop heat soak, but that doesnt stop any heat of exhaust ect. getting the turbo or heat of turbo getting out into the engine bay...
  12. i noticed there is no front spoiler... did you take it off before it was stolen? or is it possible they smashed it off or even removed it for keeps
  13. did it make any difference after you put it on the dyno (performance wise?) i have a kkr turbo which is a bit bigger than stock turbo, do they make universal ones? or do you have to buy a specific blanket/beanie for certain turbos?
  14. hi guys, i noticed i dont have a turbo heat shield, maybe because my turbo has been upgraded (bigger) and was thinking of getting a turbo blanket/beanie believing they will keep everything cooler and make the turbo run more efficiant... just want a bit of feedback from those who have one, or anyones opinions/information will help a great deal... cheers
  15. iv got autometer gauges... work well, mechanical gauges are more accurate
  16. i think some are wet (oiled) elements and some are dry elements... depending on how exposed your filter is to dust and dirt ect. an oiled element will filter dust ect. better...
  17. its an r33, well i have the boost controller hooked up to the actuator which would stop it from over boost... wouldnt it???
  18. well theives use a coldchisel and a hammer. if you resort to that...
  19. iv blocked it off with a bolt, just before i did i started the car to see if any air came out or anything... nothing so i gave it a few short revs and could feel air coming out... i take it its still the right thing to block it off yeah??
  20. PM me about monoblock amp if you still have it with some info..cheers
  21. hey mate im after complete boot trimmings (carpet, mouldings, plugs, plasics ect.) i tried to pm u but your inbox is full. PM me on info cheers 4drftn
  22. is it hard to start at times? i had the same problem with my vs commodore just driving along and just shut off and all the dash lights will come up... in the end it was the crank angle sensor... get it checked out
  23. and as for my apexi bov. i had a look at it and noticed that the tension screw has been put right down... right in to far. tried to adjust it but its tilted a bit. but if i open it up should be able to get the tension screw to wined it back up... so there is probably nothin wrong with it....
  24. got my missus to drop me of on a big stretch of road last night and got her to do a few passes... sounds good, just sounded a bit weak in the cabin...
  25. i dunno if this is the case with the skyline motors but in the old holden motors (253ci,308ci) disabling your engine fan and using thermos can increase hp (less drag, more efficiant)... slightly anyway... are you putting one/them in front of your radiator? or infront of your engine?
