oh ok, then maybe the bov is stuffed ir no good, because looking at the bov there is no tension screw on the top... arent the apexi twin chamber bov supposed to have the tension screw? if it is seized up is it possible to fix it?
no, no sound comes out of the blow off valve at all, and yes it has a t piece, it should be to much of a change in pressure as the line has been kinked with a cable tie around it, blocking the boost controller, as my boost controller has been disabled. would it be an idea to totally remove t peice and hose to my boost controller?
i have a hks pod filter at the moment... might have been better if i stated that i also have 550cc injectors, bigger turbo, fmic, walbro fuel pump, dump pipe into stainless 3 inch, microtech ecu ect.
it has an apexi (twin chamber) bov on the crossover piping at the moment but its not in use, it has the hoses of it but making the flutter sound it must be actulator, is that what is happening by the sound of things???
just bought a turbosmart supersonic bov (secondhand) and it come with a plasic plug (in pic next to bov), probably a stuipid question but what is it for and is it needed?...cheers

i used to do work at a bodyworks, post pics of the areas... is it just the clear comming of? being a bodyworks they should of used 2pac paint but iv heard that some will use acrylic, which is ok, but it could of had a reaction with undercoat, iv also heard of some places spraying directly over the gel coat which over time the paintwill come away from the bumper
it would be wise to go back and give them a piece of mind, my boss got a job done on his HZ GTS and it ended up going back 3 times!
i have FMIC, 550cc injectors, dump with 3inch stainless, hks pod, bigger turbo, walbro fuel pump, microtech ecu, and im not running boost controller, but my car runs 7psi, sometimes spikes around 10psi and i dont have the bov hooked up
hi, i was wondering if the position of the bov makes a difference in performance or running of the vehicle... i currently have an apexi twin chamber bov (on crossover) and was going to replace it with a turbosmart supersonic (without adaptor for crossover) which has a weld on piece.
how well do they operate (performance wise)?
would it work best if i had an adaptor?
will it make a difference if its on the intercooler piping?
how much boost should i run for maximum sound potential?
maybe a more recommended type of bov....
how well does your current bov operate, and where it is located?
any info will help me and hopefully help others on this issue...
cheers
