ford thermo fans pulling... would it be better to have push towards the motor aswell?

im thinking about removing my engine fan and putting twin thermo's, what size is recommended? i was considering putting two 12" thermo's in front of engine (push type) and because my intercooler, covers my radiator (stopping airflow) a push type on the front of the radiator aswell. would the alternator handle it? am i going overboard with having one on the radiator too? what are you using? cheers

do they have modified injectors? or stock ones?

my car is an rR33 S1 with rb25det. iv got this really loud ticking noise under the bonnet, looking at other threads it can be a number of things. i have 550cc injectors and have been told they will make a ticking noise... could also be clutch fan (bearing giving out) could also be spark plugs tappin the heads... im leading towards the plugs because also my car is idleing high, but im unsure if that would have anything to do with idleing issue.... whats the most common thing causing this ticking noise? cheers 4drftn

have you hit any big potholes or anything lately? i have 20's and i have a bees willy distance between my tyre and top of strut. going back a month ago i would turn and hear a knock knock knocking sound. jacked up drvers front and we gave the wheel a spin. heard a slight rubbing sound and discovered it was touching strut in certain spots on tyre. looked at the tyre and noticed lumps in it!. got a new tyre chucked the wheel on to discover was still rubbing in some spots! my stub axel must be bent! just jack up and do these checks and you might discover you have this problem... get it fix, i ground a bit of the strut back about 1mm - 2mm, until i can get it fixed, and i am changing my struts/suspension gear anyways. grinding is not advised unless you are going to change it in the near future. getting your stub axel fixed isnt a big job.

if you have an adjustable bov turn it all the way to hard so it wont open on boost. air will bounce back and hit the turbo props and cause the flutter noise through your pod (hks apparently is the best for this as i believe the filter less)

i to have been looking for the totally clear taillight lenses, i remember a while back the had a couple of sets for sale on ebay, dunno if they were customly done or they were a aftermarket part...

i had the volk racing valve caps on my volk rims, the ones on the passenger side got stolen must have been a kid on a bike or something. it is a pain because i just cant go into supercheap and buy genuine volk/rays valve caps off the shelf...

i cleaned my AAC but it didnt help, but it could be the solenoid on the AAC but i dunno how you can check that.

when you say warm do you mean the wheather or when your car warms up? the wheather causes my car to idle to fluctuate and idle high when the wheather is cold, but when the wheather is hot its pretty much fine... reason... from what iv been told is that the car was bought and tunned in sydney and bringing it to my neck of the woods where its colder alot of the time causes it to run like it does... has something to do with the denceness of the air, molicules etc. been told it needs a light tune on the dyno, havent yet got round to doing or atleast get it checked out.

as topic says, would like to know if a R33 series 1.5 dash cluster would suit either series 1 or 2 or do they only suit series 1.5.... cheers 4drftn
