  1. Hi Guys Thought i'd through this up here first as an EOI i have a brand new Apexi Isamu RX6B Kit TCW76-P22 for the rb25 This is a complete high mount offered by Apexi it contains everything you need, it comes with all the pipe work for a return style intercooler, i have had the manifold ect ceramic coated, and i have also had the turbocharger checked for balance ect. this is a very rare kit power wise should make over 300kw's this was same one that was installed on the old JMS r33 skyline i'll be creating proper post on Thursday night when i can get some photos,
  2. go and buy some wet and dry and be done with it, any decent paint stripper will melt it, or just make a gooey mess, or buy a new one and prep it right
  3. go past trojan im sure they would be able to help, might take a bit longer but its always good not rush to a engine build.
  4. OEM nissan make sure it has the right tension and you wont have any issues.
  5. try the newer 1k blades 08-13 when they come out, like a 600 in size but heaps of power and no anti fun controls if your going to ride every day, or i like the new r1's sound great but are heavy from i've been told, if i was you i would test ride them all and see what you like the best, then see if they have any issues from searching online and go from there.
  6. i have read in the past experienced/long serving police officers have won court cases where they had judged the speed without radar/laser or pacing behind you, it was deemed that a police officer would have the experience to accurately judge your speed by sight. You shouldn't have admitted that you were speeding until you were shown your speed, the fact that you were driving a "sports car" that looks/sounds fast doesn't help plus all the stigma attached to performance cars is working against you, you can only weigh up your choices if you have a clean driving record and believe you were only speeding by 10/20km/hr over go speak with a good lawyer and see what they have to say, i own up to my mistakes but if I'm wrongly accursed i fight my point across. good luck dude!
  7. always clean my engine bays nothing worst than working on a motor covered in crap, it's simple don't blast electrics with the hose
  8. i used to find it easy to sell cars and bikes about 4+ years ago now its just a nightmare, soo many retards it not worth dealing with them.

this is insane....what the hell was the driver thinking, the only car that i have ever seen that had damage like this was a commodore that left the road and landed in a storm water drain the spedo was stuck at 220km/hr, very sad RIP....
  13. 2 weeks aint that long to do the work, body work cant be rushed if you want a good job, painting and fitting wont work unless they are factory parts that wont require mods to fit, i'v done a bit body work and painting on cars and truth is its an insane amount of work for not much money, dont forget they will be doing other cars at the same time so 2 weeks aint that long.
  14. damm i wished i hadn't of missed this
  15. i have a brand new z32 for sale and i should have the plug for it aswell, i bought it off vluture motorsport
  16. i saw ur gtr at trojan very clean, and good choice for a tuner had them tune my old r33 and never had an issue
  17. as said above call the thread guy, i have used him heaps of times for manifold studs, stipped threads you name it, he comes to your house and he does good prices. Capital Thread Repair 0419 281 194
  18. about 10k + or - to get a solid engine built with a few changes in the head done, it will need to be balanced by someone who know's what they are doing, and it can take up to a year to get done right, then there is the whole cooling aspect as well, it all adds up, but do it once and do it right and in the end you'll save money and headaches, finding a trust worthy workshop is also hard these day.
  19. budget for 10k on a decent bottom end with the top end being freshend up, you'll get cheaper prices but by them time its finished it will be usual be around that figure, the most important part is finding someone who will stand by their engines and warrent them if anything goes wrong, i knew a forged rb25 that lasted 7 years saw lost of limter, was taken to the strip almost evey weekend, hundereds of dyno runs, in the end it only lost a bit of oil pressure running an n1 oil pump and making between 350 to 400rwkw, on the other side i have built motors last less than 1500km's
  20. i had my old 33 keyed, if you have something nice lock it away its a shame but its what you have to do, i find its to do with the politicaly correct parents now days, when i was a kid you feared no one more than your parents if you did something worng God help you for the floging you would get would be worse than any jail sentence.
  21. my 33 had a exedy sports tuff HD, it lasted 3+ years of 250rwkw of daily driving had no problems with slipping
