  1. hmm well is there a way I can use the rb26dett bin file and modify it for the rb25??? not like the tune but the mafs cuz the rb26 is wired for 2 and the rb25 is only wired for one....or am I just being dumb and not thinking?
  2. Does anyone know where I can find a bin file for the rb25det, I have an r32 rb26dett ecu that I am going to eprom tune for my rb25det and I am having trouble finding the bin file.

  4. Does anyone know how much an RB25det with Greddy intake flows. I am trying to pick a turbo and I was just curious to how much the head could flow.

  7. does anyone know if the compression height of the rb25det piston is the same as the rb26dett, if so its 30mm right? If not doesnt anyone know the compression height of the RB25DET pistons???? And is the wrist pin the same? Thanks

  11. to late now to tell me to replace it mine already broke, I never messed with it so it much have been over torqued before I ever got it.
  12. I have an R33 RB25det and the bolt holding the idler pulley broke thrashing the head. I took it to a machine shop and only some of the valves are bent. The block is fine, I was in fifth gear at like 1300 rpms when it broke. Just wondering if there is OEM vavles from a different car or ones for a rb25det that I can get my hands on, also I am going to need guides and vavle seals. Any suggestions?
  13. Mine did the same thing. Is this a common problem with these motors? I have pulled my head and everything and the pistons and rods are fine. Only some of the valves bent but I need to get new ones or upgrade. Any suggestions?
  14. wow that just seems like alot to do to just get some more revs out of the block. I am used to working with hondas that we rev to 9k and higher on a built head with no problems.
  15. So the conrods wont be able to handle that many rpm's but the head will be fine?? Well I was also going to do cams too, and would rather build it while I have it apart.
  16. I am in the US so I dont have alot of info on this. I was looking to put springs retainers and solid lifters in the head so I can rev higher safely. I plan to rev to about 8500rpm. Any suggestions on brands or anything to help me out?
  17. I am in the US so I dont have the FSM for the motor or anything and no local shop to ask. I was wondering what kind of oil to use in the transmission, its a manual. When I started to drain it, it smelled and felt like gear oil 80w90 but I didnt know what factory recommends or yall recommend. Tell me what yall think, thanks.

I installed the greddy intake plenum and when I was all said and done I had a coolant hose not hooked up to something, its the one coming off the idle control valve and I was say its about 3/4 inch(yes I am from the US) or 18mm in diameter. Its the big hose coming off the AAC. Any help would be appreciative.
  20. They most likely as he said optimised it for the engine they built. As soon as you start modding an engine it no longer is the engine they built. So by changing it you could squeeze out some more horsepower.
  21. Do they have an email address, I am in the US, so calling would be a minor fortune, I was just wondering about the 5 lug brake conversion on page 4, like what all is included, and how much shipping would be to the US(probably alot though)
