  2. If anyone's keen on a small drag session this afternoon....It will be lots of fun, I will be heading out with a few friends. post up if you are coming and/or come and say hi
  3. If only you were in QLD - I'm after a white GTT boot without the holes to swap for my boot with the standard GTT spoiler on it... If anyone see's this and is keen, send me a PM!
  4. Saturday night test'n'tunes would be a great spot to meet up and enjoy the relaxed atmosphere of the testntunes.
  5. Yeah I've seen that one around heaps, with a full bomex kit + no wing. It's nice. I saw it yesterday doing laps at sufferers parasite some other skyrines I've seen recently: saw GTT23(silver 34) at garden city friday night Also saw a black 33 travelling up kessells road, near the old ANZ stadium some time last week, it went pretty good. Is it anyone on here?
  6. what turbo is it running???
  7. Mate I have stock 34gtt suspension sitting around my house. Great nick when i took it off the car. I also have a standard 34 spoiler... If you have a boot without holes in it, would you be interested in a swap?? Anyways if you could pm me to let me know what you think
  8. Mate, he is normally on Ebay australia. Maybe try going into a product he is selling and hit "contact the seller"
  9. when you change gears you have to take your foot off the throttle, you lose all of the pressure(boost) inbetween the compressor side of your turbo to your intake manifold. when you put the throttle on after the gear change, your pressure(boost) has to build up again. The bigger the turbo, the more time it takes to build up that pressure again...
  10. Oh the big ones for me is STAYING THE SPEED LIMIT...including freeway onramps and just general driving... If it says 60 - go 60. if it says 100 - go 100. ...Man I'm getting angry just thinking about it.... I have to go on the garden city(klump road inbound) every night, it goes from two lanes and a t3, to one lane, and everyone slows down to let people merge...which is fine but by the time that the everyone hits the freeway everyone is doing +_50kph... I know its the bottleneck effect but come on, nobody else even tries to get to the speed limit. If the police wanted to target people going well under the speed limit - they would make a killing right there. O.K. I've had my whinge...and i feel a little better
  11. +1 Interest on some semi's. 17". good used or new. PM me if anything eventuates...
  12. I got a Blitz SUS type pod. Its a mesh type. I've had it on for close to 2 years. The sound is great. Less filtration, more flow, nice and loud. IMO.

hey mate, Are they standard coils?
  14. I think I have the same problem as Pal - but to me it tends to happen when i hit higher boost/rpm in 2nd, 3rd, and 4th. Is this still the Clutch-o giving way? Or something along the lines of the flywheel??? PLEASE HELP!!!??!!! I have only recently had a power upgrade, and when I'm driving normally its fine, but since i have a laggyish turbo, when it hits full boost the rpm starts to skyrocket to redline but no more power gets put to the ground... Its very annoying.
  15. mate, thats just the regular recirc to atmo change. Your old bov had the air going back into the intake. when that is blocked off and an atmo is installed, there is less air going into your engine. Your ECU is still putting in the same amount of fuel for less air than normal going in. i.e. more fuel than needed and causing a backfire. Without some sort of air/fuel computer or re-tune or new ECU its never going to stop
  16. great time baz - what is your engine setup?
  17. I always thought that if the (quote of) the cost of repair is more expensive than the estimated value of the car then it is written off... I didn't know there were percentages involved... does anyone know for certain?
  18. If you were selling these in two months I would be definately keen on buying. Let meknow if you dont sell by then.
  19. Not being a mechanic, I installed the HKS 3037 pro s kit myself and everything fit really really well. I'm very glad I paid the extra went the 3037 kit over 3076r. Because i did the install myself with the kit I probably saved money doing it my way instead of buying the garrett turbo and giving it to a mechanic/fabricator to make up the oil and water lines, intake and exhaust. From start to finish I did the project in one weekend. I have heard of people doing it in under 10 hours with the HKS kit. It's a great feeling when that big of a job is completed and you get the results.
  20. MATE, I'm definately keen. I took my wing off(still have it at home) and I haven't filled in the holes yet. I could reattach for you, then swap for your boot with the holes already filled in. I got a white 34 coupe. PM me if you are still keen, I am!
  21. sorry mate, I dont think i have that problem or know what it is
  22. I'm using a Blitz SUS mesh type. It sounds fantastic. but as it is steel mesh there is less filtration. It should be fine for normal road use, just dont go rallying in your skyline with it. I have had it on my car for close to 2 years and no problems at all.
  23. they look great mate, whats the reason for selling? do they stick out too much i.e. defect? or do they rub?
  24. It sounds like its running rich. But I'm no expert
