  1. My 34GTT with just a cat-back got dynoed at 209 HP. Then I put on a FMIC and pod and started to run as rich as buggery and lost power... well I got hit with the dreaded RB25 flat-spot. For me, it was like what Mafia was talking about earlier - R&R on the standard ECU.
  2. I think BOS "Might" be closing up. I have had a CAT order for them for >2 months. Last I heard is that he couldn't get the cat's off CATCO and was going to refund my money.
  3. yeah Col, thats the one I just saw Mr T in the smileys box so i should give him a run
  4. GTRS all the way mate...as Dan said, dont bother with a high-flow. nitestalkr - get your fuel system upgraded and you should make that power no probs.
  5. ah see i wasn't that smart....
  6. Hey, I've been waiting on a CATCO cat for close to 2months now, and i have been in contact with the distributor, and Apparently there are a few people like me, and he is even thinking about refunding our money.... If these Cat's never arrive and he does refund our money - who else does high flow cats that can be bolted on?? I need on as soon as possible
  7. Hey mate is the CAT still for sale? If so, is it a bolt up unit? and would you know the flow rates, and if it has ceramic, metal, etc insides? and some pics? Cheers, Steve
  8. Hey, I might be up for it - but I'm not free till about 10... do you guys know where you would be around then if you are cruising? Or would you still be 'coffeeing' (a new word be me)

  17. I got the turbo on but i can't get it tuned until this coming saturday... so i wont be there but post up when the next one is getting organised and I'll definately be there... Everyone post up how they went and what times they do!
  18. I got a blitz SUS type filter. I think they are a 4" outlet. I love mine. a great filter I've never had problems with.
  19. yeah I will be/am. As it says in earlier posts, I will be getting it remapped in a week or two. I will unplug the standard solenoid and see how she goes when i fire her up. Cheers for the help
  20. yeah its an internal gate - the 3037 comes with the HKS adjustable actuator. Cheers for the help. if i disconnect the soleniod will the ECU chuck a mental? of will it still operate fine? I'm using a standard ECU that will be remapped in a week or two when i get it tuned.
  21. Hi people on SAU, I'm doing my first turbo upgrade and everything has gone relatively smoothly, but I need all of your help with a little problem I have come accross. I am putting on a HKS 3037 pro s turbo kit onto my 34, and i dont know what to do with the boost lines that go upto the solenoid and i guess off to the ECU. Do I have to build these into the lines onto the hose that runs from the actuator to the compressor housing, or can i just take out the soleniod all together??? Does the ECU need that boost reading? Or was it just for the two stage boost setup on the old turbo? I was running standard boost on my standard turbo before the upgrade, and want to run around 1.1-1.2 bar on the new one. Any help would be much appreciated! Cheers
  22. I just heard they have arrived at my house... why do work days always go for so long? I grabbed the 600cc variation of them. they are so cheap for brand new, flow tested & matched, 600cc injectors that are a drop in straight fitment... That has to be as good or better than any aftermarket brand injector, right??? And they only cost $550!
  23. what are the ristrictions for a standard AFM on RB25s?
  24. And you dont have any rubbing problems???? Do you have your guards rolled?
  25. Hey mate, Nice pics. your car is looking hot. Hey, what is the offset on those rims? Just so i know to compare when i get my rims... Cheers mate.
