"ful shit its self" doesnt really describe to the people in the know on this forum what happened to your engine. If uve thrown a rod through ur block, they may as well go a 25, but if its a less major problem, they maybe rebuild will be all you need. People in general are idiots, if they meida tells them that skyline owners are hoons, they will believe the media. And we get things happening like what happened to bigjimmystyle. Its a sad world we live in where people believe things they hear on A Current Affair and Today Tonight.......maybe its time for an idiot cull it'll solve alot of problems.... Little do people realise that most people on this forum dont hoon their cars because they actually like them in good condition. Therefore we are enthusiasts. Hoons dont drive nice cars, (or should i say well maintained cars), all the hoons i see are driving shit boxes. People should be giving the finger to the shit box laser infront of them bellowing blue smoke, with no brake lights and bald tires, not to a nicely modified car with a slightly loud exhaust.

If pods are enclosed and secured in a box then the cop will be none the wiser (unless its made of perspex)...its not illegal if u dont get caught Paint everything in ur engine bay black if ur worried about getting defected, looks less suspicious than shiny silver pipes and intercoolers

Yeh prob could set ur your boost controller to do what i posted above...but its pretty rough on the car, not advisable at all One of the biggest killers of engine components it rappid changes in operating conditions, like bouncing of a limiter, full power then no power. So no boost to full boost isnt as kind as smooth delivery on components Oh and Bumblebee, the mines car looks like its going faster than other cars, when really its just revving faster, higher diff ratios, so the engine revs faster than most, but the 2530's are still probably the pick for turbos, or just as good garrett 2860r-5.

Im going to be a smart arse so dont take this too seriously... If you dont want heaps of power but like that serious boost kick, fit 2530's or similar and build in a valve that redirects all boost until it closes at say 5000rpm. So your turbos will still build boost as the car revs, but it all goes to waste, then at 5000rpm bang, instant 18psi or what ever you want. Probably loads of problems in what ive just described, but would be one hell of a kick going from no power to serious power. Very silly i know

When i build my 'line, im going to make sure it has a "Valet" mode for that very reason. Lowboost setting and tune for other people that might drive the car.

Im going to be a spelling whore, but i have to say it Its spelt SCENE not sean. Sean is a boys name and is pronounced Shaun Haha sorry, had to say it And you dont want GTR suspension, you just want aftermarket GTS-T suspension, import some japanese kit, or go to your local suspension shop and tell them you want to lower your car. Have a look in the suspension section of the forum, lots of info there. Or there is a guy (more of a god really) on the forum called SydneyKid, he is a suspension specialist and sells kits for skylines, you could probably even import one of his kits to Canada, dont know, you'd have to ask him Or if ur on a budget and aren't particularly interested in handling and just want to lower your car just change your springs (dont chop them) to lower aftermarket ones, should do the trick. Go for a HKS GT-RS or a Garrett GT2860RS (Disco Potato) for a quick street RB25, thats what id do anyway. You will lose a little bit of low down response, but gain loads of midrange and top end. Or if you want even more lowdown response, but a bit less top end, just mod and high-flow your current turbo like whistle said. Have a look in the RB25 dyno thread, thats the best way to work out what you are likley to need to suit ur needs. -
2000hp from an NA V6....proof please edit: no chance of that, F1s are (i believe) the highest output per litre car in the world, and they make what?...800hp from 2.4litres of V8 at 20,000rpm, these things spin so fast they use air instead of valvesprings, the metal cant spring fast enough, no chance the yanks build a 2000hp na NSX

Would probably have to say that the stockies will do with your setup. But if you really want some cams, buy some big brand jap ones like the ones uve metnioned but stay sensible on the duration and lift Maybe some tomei poncams 252 deg duration and 9.15mm lift....dunno. You wont see gains just by dropping a set of cams, ull also need new cam gears, and you may need to mod the valvetrain (valves, springs etc) Then they all need to be set up properly, timing adjusted and the ECU will need a retune And even then with your setup you might get 20kws at the wheels, you may end up with a much meatier midrange and the turbo will spool quicker, or you may get nothing... Cams are a great mod, often underrated, but they arent really a huge poweradder on a mild tuned car, better kw/$ value things to be done

Cant find 2560-10's on the garrett site, I could only find 2560-9's 4's and 1's, and the 2560-9s are smaller than the 2860-5s, which when pushed may reach 400rwkw. But yours may be running larger wheels or something, dont know. If i was chasing over 400+rwks, id be looking at the 2860RS disco potatoes. But your list of mods looks pretty solid, similar set ups on the rb26 dyno thread are making around 350kw. Let us know how she goes when shes put together. -
Mazda6 is a brilliant car, hence my dad had a 6 luxury sports, and loved it so much he upgraded to the MPS. They handle brilliantly, and feel much faster than they actually are. Great fun car, with midsize practicality. Get the Mazda6 then save for the GTR, Thats what im doing, except replace Mazda6 with Alfa 156, and R32 GTR with R34 4 door (rb26 swap) once i finish uni and actually have some income to play with. Its the only sensible choice when you bring insurace and petrol into the equation.

May want to think about pistons and rods soon, but im a bit soft, and a fan of overkill when it comes to engine building. People have made 300+ with standard bottom ends. Keep screwing boost in, N1 turbos should make 300rwkw, if not, you might need 2860-7's or GT-SS's, but this along with internals starts to get expensive. Oh, and i hope uve got some mods to the oil stystem, restricter etc. Good luck mate, even if it only makes 275 uve still got one hell of a quick street car on your hands.
