I wouldn't worry bout the contact patch personally, id just go the thinner tyre as it would be cheaper than a wider one, and also so it wouldn't rub (depending on how low the car was)

When i picked my 32 up from the car yard it still had the standard radio/cd player in it from japan, their radio frequencies must be close to our emergency frequencies as i could hear ambulance chit chat through it. . . . nothing exciting happened

Its not all in one unit, i had a pioneer dvd player and had the usual (cd, mp3, dvd, ipod, touch screen etc). The vehicle processor is a seperate unit that you have to buy and plug in. Not sure on the price now but when i last saw it was over $700 (that was a while ago) Same with the ipod attatchment, its set up for it but you still have to buy the ipod unit and hard wire it in. I paid $200 just for the ipod unit

Haha a fire extinguisher would be good but you can get into trouble with them if someone complains. . . . My mates "borrowed" some extinguishers form a petrol station and went round spraying people on the streets and even went into a cafe' and squirted them, and at the end of it all they ended up getting charged with 23 counts of assault. Well i had to get an aftermarket BOV as my car was N/A when i got it

Sorry to say but the monza BOV's are s**t. I bought one brand new put it on the car and with it wound as tight as i could get it and the vacume suction was opening it and not letting boost build. Even at idle i could hear it sucking it open. If something is wrong with yours dont waste your time or money trying to fix it, get a decent quality one, im now running a turbosmart one and havent had any problems with it

HAHAHAHAHA that is f***n funny, yeah id say go with an air horn. I bought one from motorquipe in carousel for 25 bucks. . . . Just shake, aim and press the button. . . .Very loud and cheap to buy, and fun to scare people haha

I used to have a scanner, i bought it from tandys for 200 bucks, Bloody good to listen to on the weekend nights. I heard things from kids throwing fire crackers at cars, crashes, police chases, a riot in cannington with over 100 people, a guy going from door to door asking for money, ALOT of domestics, and one where a skyline and a ferrari that were drag racing along the kwinana fwy at over 170kph across the narrows haha and one of a old commodore doing bout 150 through a booze bus haha what an idiot, and heaps more.

Can you fight it and say that your car isnt a coupe its a sedan, and that the sedans sit lower? Does the car actually sit lower or are the guards lower? When i had my VT wagon i found out that the rear guard was lower than the sedan ones, maybe same kinda thing here?

I had oil all through my piping and exhaust when the seals in my turbo blew, so maybe that has happened. Not too sure bout the backfiring but when my 32 was still N/A i had alot off backfires or 'pops' as i changed gear and some times when i changed down The turbo flutter could be from a BOV that isnt opening and pushing out the air back through the turbo (oil in the piping might have gotten into the BOV and is making it harder for it to open). also if there is oil leaking through the inlet side and into the motor that may aslo be holding back some power, and not letting it feel like it is going as hard

Check your bov, my old bov was letting air out at idle, turned out to be the vacume line was sucking the valve open which = no boost

Can i just ask how often do the official cruises happen? I wont be there but would like to come, just wondering as i might be able to bring my car down for the next one, if i ever get it back on the road.

How much would it hurt if you acidently shut the door when you were halfway in haha You would be like ouch, then the door would stop and you'd be like thank f**k for that, then the window will try shutting haha and crush any "bits" that were in the way haha

When i was in perth yesterday i saw armadale road had pot holes everywhere. Heaps near midland brick also armadale rd and nicholson (its just starting to get there) and also just past lake rd when your heading towards armadale. The council definetly needs to stop using the shovels as a leaning device and use them to fill the holes up
