  1. Great! but I think SAU-Vic only accept cash/direct deposit for the mean time... (damn monthly pay!)
  2. Does SAUV and CAMS accept CC transactions? I will sign up for both.. but need to CC as I only have $25 dollars in my transaction account
  3. Hi I have a second-hand red Turbosmart Boost Tee for sale - $50ono +postage (avail for pick up from GW area). It is off my skyline and I never had any issues with spiking and holds boost well. Comes with everything in the photo - including the most important the ricey sticker! 0423 026 506 Thanks Jonathan
  4. I used colgate mint toothpaste... don't laugh it actually works! Toothpaste is like one of the finest grit you can use... I copped so much flak for sitting on a stool brushing my headlights with an old toothbrush but hey if it works then why not
  5. I'm running 225/50/16s on standard rims as daily driver tyres...
  6. Whoops, yup meant Third Party the 'C' just popped out of no where. Officially all mods are 'illegal' unless engineered yeah? Or will "boost controllers" and piggy back ECU's etc be allowed by insurance?
  7. I'm waiting to join SAUVIC to enable me to get my CAMS too!
  8. I'll be changing from CTP with JC to comprehensive with Shannons since I got a good quote. Since the policy allows modifications as long as they are legal.. what are some legal mods that can be done? (ie you've done them and listed them on your insurance policy)
  9. Pics to confirm condition?
  10. do you have an estimate on how much this would cost?
  11. Do you have a rough estimate as to how much this will cost? I know its only for reading values, but it'll still be very useful for diagnosing faults and just for the wank value
  12. I hope thats the case I don't really understand the diagram, which bit is existing and which bit needs to be done?
  13. I also thought the R32 was just under, just like the R33 is just over. Anyway, from the other thread which I replied, but closed just before I got my reply in.. What are you guys doing for the cops to pull you over? I go to Knox all the time, during the day or night for whatever reason. Fair enough my car from the outside looks totally stock and I'm not a P plater or anything. In all the times I've gone to Knox, I've never been pulled over for anything - even drove behind a divvy van from the carpark around the back to the exit and they didn't even do anything. Maybe when I go, I just park, do whatever, hop in the car and leave? I don't do hero laps or anything... or are you guys doing something to bring attention to yourselves?
  14. My GSD3s are 50psi max (225/50/16) but I run them at ~38... I think the placard is 36 upon conversion to PSI, but since 225s extend a little past the rim I pump a bit more psi to have less flexing on hard cornering.
  15. Cool.. nah there isn't enough links for it to slap against the radiator.. the hook has to be vertical for the latch to close properly with no resistance, so that basically pulls the chain fairly taught.

  17. Heres what I came up with today... http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/photopost...Medium_-med.jpg http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/photopost...Medium_-med.jpg Basically a few bucks worth of chain from Bunnings + ~$3 snap hook (bought from Kmart earlier, but also available at Bunnings) I think this should suffice...
  18. Those 2k helmets are approved for rallying use with room for that voice mic and everything.. its not just a store for ricers to pick up stuff like ricebarn , but an actual real race store that professionals source parts from too!
  19. min 205/55/16 max 225/50/16
  20. The only difficulty is you have to be able to reach within a few inches of room (pulled bonnet but still havent used the lever yet)... not much room if you got big hands etc
  21. I was thinking of using one of those "toggle" bolts and either: a) bolt a hook (to hook into a loop of cable on the radiator mount) B) bolt a loop (to hook into a hook on the radiator mount) Roy, if your method works (as I'm having doubts how to do my way) I don't mind going for one too, as long as you inform me what other parts I need to get (if any) to complete the job.
