i was doing 63 flats with a shite diff that was whining like something that whines alot. im running R888's jack was doing 62 flats i think on r888's and ae48's on the rear?

yeah will need some kind of new ecu for z32.. not sure of the safc and if it supports it. powerfc's can be found pretty cheap, RB26 ones can be modded up easy enough for rb25's , like how mine was modded for the rb20 stock afm tend to only struggle when you hit 190kw + from memory.

master cylinder fail? all in all, i had an awesome day! 1st laps out was shit due to mass missfire in high rpm range.. lucky had some new plugs thanks to the awesome jamie , swapped them over.. and it appears he took a photo lol.. turns out 5 plugs were .7 gap.. 1 was 1.1..... lol... car ran beautifully next few runs until i took brodie out, several laps, new pb.. car decided it needed to get super hot (115) and steam itself up in the pits lol.. all in all ive decided.. i need a new diff.. gearbox.. and a bunch of niggly issues fixed before next outing. good to meet people again! also... jacks car... an animal... i swear he was trying to show off since i was in the car.. with all those spins :-P

yeah, im like jack. run 31ish cold, but my crappy street tyres i ran one day i had to drop them to around 33 in front and 35 in back to help get round the track properly lol. think mine atm are around 35 all corners so gonna play around with them sunday, might borrow my mates portable pump.

sure is.. private track day, turn up, pay, sign waiver.. whack helmet on and race.

go out there, have fun at first learning your car and the track, at any stage just ask some of us to come out for a lap with you in your passenger seat or take a ride with one of us to learn the lines :-) me and a mate have gotten some guys to drop 4 seconds per lap just by showing them simple lines.

know what you mean about suspension jack, mines soaks up the bumps well, following you, your car didnt budge a mm.. it just wanted to let loose everywhere lol i really need my diff sorted then i reckon ill hit 62's, pb atm is 63.38 not bad when i couldnt put the power down on last corner and exiting esses.

ive got a spare set of semi's, got at least 1 or 2 track days left. as for jack, hes struggling to be faster than this dirty green rb20 i know of

dont i know it too, and i havent even started the series i plan to yet lol I do agree with jack! 1 every 3 months is reasonable, especially when you take into account some of us do hillclimbs (collinsvale, basky, domain, highclere x2) so at $100+ a pop for those + fuel / maintenance, track days add up! i do random track days every so often with mates or when i'm really really bored lol but i do like the idea of a 4 event per year, 2 basky, 2 symmonds? rotation system?

yeah, with the R888's med/hard compound no idea on power, never been on a dyno registering power, Shaw's dyno wasnt calibrated for figures, he used it for tuning.

well.. set a new pb last track day 63.38, with a dodgy diff.. so once shimmed ready for the 24th, hoping to hit 62's!! really need to get more camber on front and slightly more castor i think!

yeah, id check coil packs and gapping of plugs, also if its getting really hot, check for air locks in coolant system, mine did similar with heat when i dropped a 2nd motor in :-)

he found one he can order in, just will prob takes a few weeks, and he really needs to change his pads lol. like 1mm left. and no, he doesnt want to socket and hammer it :-P his 3.5k volks deter that approach lol

mate is looking for a rays lock nut, 7 sided one as he has lost his somewhere and needs his rims off lol. PM if you have access to one we can borrow! type 47 apparently is model of lock nut cheers funz

Prices went up as of 1st Jan apparently, $80 now for HSCC and prob $120 for non? If we are doing a track day this 24th, ill prob not do the super sprints and just do this instead!

yeah, my brake pedal is feeling a bit spongy now haha was good though, these simple EBC green pads have done 3 track days and 2 hillclimbs now, holding up well :-) im quite surprised how well the R888's went!
