  3. i see where your both coming from, i think it was more due to my neglegence and slamming my gear in like a lunatic, yess the 34gtt is now pushing out double its standard power so i im guessing its double the strain, i am going to try and find a gtr box and if i cant then ill just have to go with 3rd gear rebuild and hope for the best as this 34 has already left a massive dent in my pocket trying to get it this fast. i genuinely appreciate your feedback and please dont hestitate continuing doing so.   4. well ive been quoted so far $1500 to fix 3rd gear remove/install...is that about the right price??? also ive got a jim berry custom 6 puck carbotics clutch...its a great clutch..obviously good enough to break the box without any slip! thanks alot for these businss recommendations. also just on that gtr gearbox note...what are they worth second hand?

  8. hey all...went to eastern creek the other night...got excited and somehow broke 3rd gear and now the box needs fixing. question is...who have you guys gone to and recommend?? also who wouldnt you recommend. ive been recommended so far by bel garage to go to diff and gears in smithfield. let me know..also what will it cost to fix approximately?? its a r34gtt gearbox thanks in advance..
  9. 12.8 first time out to eastern creek... trap was 0.48 and 60ft 2.10 turbo hks 2835 pro s. full street trim with 225/45/17 federal 595's. going for more boost and a tune to hold boost uptop then hoping for early 12's.

  20. hey all... been scratching my head at this one since i got my car back from tuners.....just neediing to know what is a safe amount of knock for a tuned vehicle. what is your oil temp (with oil cooler) max on a hot day and whats safe??? what is your water temp on your pfc controller on a hot day max out at, and whats safe?? cheers in advance,
  21. yes had it checked on two other dyno's afterwards, both mainline dyno's...just power runs "no difference in tune". initially went for boost drop issue...was claimed as cleared n sitting at 280rwkw..took it to two dyno's for power runs...came up at 225rwkw-230rwkw...so quite a difference. freak occurance??
  22. that dynodynamics dyno at cv is very number happy...had a 225rwkw vehicle that read 280rwkw...so im kind of sceptical.
  23. the best way would be individually on each cyliner runner for the manifold, second best would be the where the manifold and turbo meet..anywhere else is pretty useless.
  24. man why is everyone troubling them selves for a few $$$. just buy the deautchwekrks ones for $800. you cant go wrong.
