  5. got it booked in for monday to be seen by another tuner and have this issue diagnosed. i dont think the turbo is out of puff as ive seen several other rb25's make atleast 270...and im finding it hard to make just up to 245-250rwkw at anything over 14psi. plus im getting a massive pressure drop without any detonation...so how can it be producing hot air???

  7. ive changed all my clamps to t-bolt clamps, and all hoses except 2...ive taken it from my current tuner due to him being backed up with with and having not enough time in the near future to find the issue. so on friday i will be taking it to a new tuner who hopefully will/can find the issue and have this off my back for good. and yes joeyjoe i cant wait for that responsive power...its just been going on for so long on such a little issue. and why would the iridiums be no good???
  8. so everyone is saying..there's no use of puting tv in your car as it just wont go reception and there's no way of getting around it.

  10. i highly recommend you dont use anything other then "electrical contact cleaner" it will automatically dry and clean once applied it is used for electrical boards and components. there will be a residue left on the afm if you use anything else. Bass
  11. the intercooler has been replaced now anyways...with a plazmaman comp series one. and sparkplugs are- pfr7b
  12. ive upgraded fuel pump to 500 hp splitfire coil packs platinum sparks (.8 gap) the afr's are nothing lower then 11.8 or higher then 12.2 not sure on ignition timing power fc, 600cc injectors. had 100,000 k service done when turbo was installed.
  13. yeh...im going to let the tuner check for leaks...he seems super busy though...and god knows when there going to get onto it.... im quite fed up with this project so be sanely honest. how big can a leak be that it bleeds of 6 psi...and an unoticable one too.
  14. ok whats happning is, boost on the turbo inlet (ive got a nipple there connected to a boost gauge) is reading at 20 psi and another boost gauge or maf sensor on the inlet plenum is only reading 14 psi. so i know it cant be the intake as its making the boost but once im hitting about 240-250rwkw or 14psi'ish at about 4500rpm the boost just drops off dramatically...and it still makes the 20psi on the turbo side but only gauging 14 psi on the inlet manifold side. hope it wasnt confusing...my tuner says it could be boost leak...but ffs...i think ive fixed it...im going to go back and pressurise the system and see if there are any leaks. OTHERWISE IM DUMBFOUND...
  15. ok, UPDATE...so i purchased so almost a $1000 later still no fix...after fitting a plazmaman intercooler and upgrading my clamps to t bolt ones and a few new silicone hoses im still STUCK at 250rwkw.... I AM DEAD SET AT THE END OF MY WITTS WITH THIS CAR....in dire need of advice... just to cap it offf, have dropped exhaust before the car replaces intercooler replaced clamps with heavy duty ones and any worn piping with new silicon piping. WHERE DO I GO WITH IT??

  18. the whole system was pressurized, ive purchased a new intercooler so my cars at the tuner now...we will see how we go.
