  1. I hope no one was hurt in the accident. Do you have the centre console vent garnish (grey in colour, above the climate control) for sale? Mine's cracked after some idiot (not me ) tried removing it, most likely with a crow bar and a mallet.
  2. i wonder if this is nissan getting public awareness up in anticipation of returning to give the touring car series another caining - or is the r35 a priori baned?
  3. looking for a steering wheel spinnng contact for an 1995 r33 s1

  5. My 95 s1 r33 gtst came with a momo + boss kit and all was well but the wheel was as bit ratty, so i got me a nardi and... The wheel didn't align properly (different stud pattern) so i took off the boss kit to realign the splines. But when i put everything back i realized i'd stuffed up because the horn wasn't working and turning lock-to-lock made this horrible sound, like snapping cartilidge. Anyway, i traced the sound to inside the left over bit from the airbag (see pick): the cable that's inside the unit must not have been wound back up properly when i realigned the splines and so turning the wheel lock-to-lock probably tore it and now the cable is broken. Chewed up. Stuffed. Not quite right. Can i simply leave this srs unit/remnant/whatever off and splice the horn wire directly to the connector that the airbag unit would've plugged into? Or will this have some other effect - like randomly activating the hicas or something? Also the airbag light on the dash is now always lit (was off previously) which is annoying and clearly down to me snapping the cable. Any help would be appreciated
  6. Not sure i agree with the boy racer image. Even an R33 doesn't always have to have that tag. I think it depends on what's been done to the car. Add a huge rear wing and a paint job with vinyl graphics to make a thai uni student proud and things start to go down that path. But it all comes down to personal preferences and, at the end of the day, as you say, they're all stagea's and are therefore awesome.
  7. Same kind of thing happed when i was robbed; they stole my washing basket too. Cops reckon it was to haul the stuff out of the house in. f**kers.
  8. interesting how ppl's preferences vary, i was thinking i liked the older series 2 wgnc34's. here's a side-by-side of the two
  9. Yep, me too. 15 years doing financial software systems development. Started off in Smalltalk, moved to Java in 1999.
  10. Thanks for the replies GeeTR. This helped heaps 'cause i now have my dual turbo timer actually doing 2 things. Boost pressure is coming through nicely. Thanks. Now, if only i'd mounted the control face so that it wasn't blocked by the steering wheel... Cheers -- Foo
  11. Hi, i was wondering if anyone can tell me where to stick the vacuum tube for the boost pressure that comes off the back of the Blitz DTT DCIV control unit. The timer is on a series I(.5) R33 gts25t. Any comments (other than "up ur bum") would be a great help. Cheers -- Foo
  12. Hey i was wondering if anyone has a translation of the installation manual for a blitz DBIV turbo timer?
  13. 60,000 Kms, but who knows how real that is. The car itself is tidy and in very good condition both inside and out. Standard rb25det neo under the bonnet, so no twin turbo there unfortunately. Interior is cloth and there're dual sunroofs. No obvious mechanical problems and the engine bay is clean with no oil build up in unwanted places. How much do people reckon this particular stagea is worth? What do you guys think would be a good price? Thanks for your help -- Foo
