I am having problems with the ABS and 4WD dash warning lights coming on when started cold. When the car warms up and then started again most of the time the warning lights go out and all is well for the rest of day or until the car cools down I can tell prior to starting the car if the warning lights will come on. The ABS motor activates when the ignition is turned on and you can hear it turning. But when it’s cold the ABS motor makes a louder noise prior to engine startup. This is what I have done Replaced the ABS unit Bled the brake lines and ABS as per workshop manual Checked the ABS computer fault code. Fault 13 was indicated which is no use Checked the earth strap to the ABS Anybody had the same fault? The car is a R32 gtr

Try a new one from Nissan $2500 lol

I had mine made up. Didn't cost that much as you can purchase the plate pre cut and weld a bent tube to it. Your choice.

Just a heads up. There is no stipulation in the regulations that you must have a spare tyre in the car upon presenting your car to Regency ie the new minis do not have a spare tyre. I had to present my car again due to the space saver not having a tag with the maximun km. Removed the space tyre - fixed. Also with the 4 week delay in presenting your car to Regency if your car has been defected for a minor defect ie turbo timer you can get a extension of your defect to the day you present your car to Regency. You do this by talking to your local copper and getting an extension signed on the defect notice. Also with the delay in Regency some cars will actually run out of registration before the Regency appointment. To get around this you take your reregistration form and defect notice with the extension to the rego office and demand a Temporary Permit To Drive An Unregistered Vehicle Issued subject to section 16 (1) of the Motor Vehicled Act. The idiots behind the counter at the rego office will not know about it. Demand to see the supervisor. You then pay for 3 months registration and you can only drive the car upto and on the day you present your car to Regency. You then present the receipt to the rego office on the day and get the rego sticker. The whole point of this is to minimise the inconvenience of not being able to drive your car.

Damn that cop to hell. If it's your job to dispense the law - you have to know it. Quite simply that cop is an idiot. Unfortunatly idiot cops are the norm nowdays.

Need Some Help From An R32 V-spec Gt-r Owner.

Will take a pic when I get the car back from the mechanic -
I got Tein S springs. Very Happy. Be careful if your buying em off ebay. There are copys about.
-
The suprising thing that I found was the ride height is just right. Not too low to attract attention or as high as stock. Ride is not hard either. If you want I can take a picture of the ride height. Also note to be careful of ebay imitations. There are a lot of copys going around. I am no expert on the matter, but the guy who sold me the springs ( auto shop) said the good quality springs are cold rolled ?

Trust Enlarged Front Diff Cover
E33 replied to E33's topic in Suspension, braking, tyres and drivetrain
Thanks. The car is a V spec and it is nearly the same as other r 32 gtr as far as I can see . Good to hear that the diff is vented to atmo now I will have to look at replacing a slightly leaking diff seal. Has anyone fitted the Trust extended rear diff housing ? -
Engine Light After Pfc And Fuel Pump Install
E33 replied to sickr33's topic in Engines & Forced Induction
treat the bus with care untill you know whats going on. Whats your knock?. Get it checked out and untill then don't boot it. -
Hi all Just a heads up. I fitted a Trust front diff cover on my r32 gtr. If I knew what a head f*k it would be to fit I would not have bothered ( took me a good solid day ). Has anyone else fitted one ?. Did you fit the top three cover bolts that sit near the oil filter? . These bolts where nearly impossible to fit and tighten. As a side issue. The front diff vent hose connects to a nipple below the intake manifold. I find this strange as I thought it would have been vented to atmo. Is this the same as your RB26? . Any input would be appreciated.

Just a heads up. I fitted a greddy oil cooler and relocator kit to a r32 gtr. Oil cooler between the ac condenser and intercooler. It's a bitch of a job to do. Will never do it again !. Has anyone else got this set up ? Have you taken your car to the track and did it keep your oil temperatures down ? Cos if this setup can't take a track outing once in a while I will not be happy in relocating the mother

Why Is Nengun So Cheap?
E33 replied to R33-RB26DETT's topic in Suspension, braking, tyres and drivetrain
Greenline is better than Nengun Ordering BBS 17 LM rims Good to hear that they are ok First time I have used them. Ur right with shipping lol Cost of shipping is the same as the cost of the rims 1500 + 1500 shipping -
Why Is Nengun So Cheap?
E33 replied to R33-RB26DETT's topic in Suspension, braking, tyres and drivetrain
Used Greenline No problems They don't have as many parts on line than Nengun tho But are a little cheaper Only reason I use Nengun still is because I can pay by Pay Pal on the spot. It's too easy and my bank ballance shows it I have been using Import Monster to get a second hand set of rims with tyres from Japan Have'nt got them yet so will have to see Anybody used Import Monster? -

NYTSKY UR RIGHT If the freight was'nt so high I would be buying everything from overseas Nungun are overall good for parts orders Anything f*ks up on the delivery and they will drop you like a stone tho First hand experiance with missing parts in an order and they did nothing to fix it
