  1. Anyone know if this would work on an R32 GTR with an OS Giken Push to Pull Converter?
  2. i took my 32 gtr to wakefield and would have to say that cornering with the hicas in was diabolical on sweeping bends, it was unpredictable and inaccurate, it was like you started off with two wheel steer then all of a sudden the rear would fully engage the 1deg of steering angle which would upset the cars balance and direction, for this reason i have removed it!
  3. ive got a exedy heavy duty button clutch on my gtr, it doesnt live up to the demands of a couple of launchs at all, had a exedy hyper twin before this but was too hard to live with. basically i need a twin plate again but something with some sort of ride! is there anything out there that does this?
  4. i have an aim mxl pista im running on another car, i want to run it on my gtr with vipec will this be possible soon?
  5. had this problem before, in my case we took it to an auto elec ended up changing the switch in the car and it worked. not cheap though!
  6. was planning on turning launch control on, on the vipec so i wonder how this influences choice?

OK heres the low down, spoke to exedy mel. today and they said that the sports tuff heavy duty button clutch that i have will only support 400 - 450hp at flywheel, seeing as i have 360hp at all wheels they say that it is border line and that i should go for a hyper twin plate setup. Ive already had one of these and it was undriveable! Any suggestions???
  8. does the stock turbo have a ceramic exhaust turbine wheel? if so pull the cat out and examine to see if any fragments of turbine are in there!
  9. brand new lightened flywheel! it had previously a hyper twin plate which was undriveable, the take up point was very short, this clutch had only 1000kms on it, so i sold it and got the button type
  10. no, first time i noticed it, will have to take it for another drive, bit nervous because by third gear im on the wrong side of the law!
  11. the engine has 3000kms on it since rebuild with r33 crank and n1 oil pump, so i hope its not the rear main, and i have hardly driven the car.
  12. hey guys i have had this only happen once yesterday, the clutch is a exedy five button and has only 2000kms on it with only a few hard launches. its in an r32 gtr with 265kwatw. my question is this common or does it need some sort of adjustment? something else to mension i wasnt driving around for long when i gave it some stick!
  13. i got my 2860-7s at GCG turbos they sorted out all of the relevant parts and gaskets for a reasonable price, also got their version of dump pipes which are split type for a good price. Just remind them that the o2 sensor fittings need a reducer for the r32.
  14. +2 vipec v44 plugin, ive got one on my 32 gtr and cannot complain very adjustable and excellent power gained when it was fitted!
  15. ive got an r32 gtr n1s, boost control and a vipec ecu, thinking about getting my tuner to turn on launch control, not shore what to expect and also where to set it. ie rpm v boost. has anyone set this up on the vipec v66
