guys been pretty busy with work and uni. but il have pix of everythn hopefuly by the weekend injectors are top feed so wil only fit a rb25det neo

turbo is a low mount and sits on the standard manifold (comes with the adaptor plate). i havent checked for any shaft play as its still on the car. but it neva chewed any oil or blew any smoke. it was also neva boosted past 10ish psi as my coils began to miss and i only had a heavy duty clutch. with uni and work i never got around to finishing it off unfortunately

hey guys, im thinking of stripping my aftermarket bits off my skyline to cut my losses. so if i get enough interest in most the gear then il go ahead with it - Garrett GT34r bolt-on turbo kit for rb25det (comes with water and oil lines) travelled under 10000kms. this is a direct bolt on kit. GCG rated it at 550hp, and claimed it was good for 300rwkw. ---- $1500 (have receipt for $2750 from gcg) - Apexi power fc + hand controller for rb25det (r33) ----- $1200 - Walbrow fuel pump --- $120 - HKS EVC 3/4 (all hoses etc included)--- $230 - z32 afm + Plus --- $200 - Deutchwerks 550cc injectors (rb25det neo) ---- $400 - Apexi pen turbo timer with wiring --- $100 - Apexi POD --- $50 - Blitz BOV with hot pipe and filter adaptor ---- $150 - BuddyClub coilovers (r33 gtst) ---- $1000 - r32 GTR seats, good condition ---- $450 the pair - Skyline rear strut brace (r33) --- $100 theres more parts and ill put them up as i remember pm me if interested cheers

my seats may not have been safe for a few reasons? well seeing how u work in the engineering field please feel me in, cauz the blue slip guy laughed and cleared it without me having to change em over. afterall, the rails arent modified as they bolt straight in . Revenue making plays a big part in these "laws". try and justify it al you like. when someone gets defected, he feels shitty enough without coping the "the laws are put in place for your safety" fairytale. my 2c

jas-25t you always seem to have something to say when it comes to speeding or defects. im sure ur no saint, so stop saying the same thing everytime, its getting very old. and you seem to passionately argue that the laws r there just to preotect us and others? yeh im sure they have nothing to do with revenue making . afterall the police are always just and consistant aye? being defected for having r33 GTR seats in a r33 Gtst is a safety hazard aye? straight out, best part was the 2 gtrs dumping it coming out . so stop ur sulking and get the hell over it. one more thing someone might like to clear up for me, and i mean no offence by this, but howww did that black gtr win BEST exterior. undoubtedly that silver gtr (FLYT34 plates), or that blue tommi kaira gtr and the white MINES gtr were ALOTTTT more appealing exterior wise. all in all not a bad event

its ur coils. check al d connection to them are nice and tight, but most litely ul need to replace ur coilpacks

i would definately get a second opinion buddy. im willing to bet my life hes over exaggerating

hey mate personally ide get a second opinion, dont get me wrong it most probably is a busted motor, but i wouldnt trust one word Hills motorsports tell me. and he quoted u 3k to repair it? mate itd be cheaper to buy a second hand motor and swap it in. but if ur willing to spend that much then best option is to do what SECURITY has said, and do an rb30 conversion for an extra 1k or so just my 2c

i think everyone is missing one important point. shouldnt Hills Motorsport (while "tuning" it) have picked up if the afm was maxing out? or if it was hitting R&R and rectified the problem? if i show u the dyno sheet for the tune they did 4 me (charged me $600 mind u) ul piss yourself laughing. they tuned it via the hand controller and my dyno graph was bout as smooth as bart simpsons hair.

mate i personally think it sounds like lifters/tappets. the fact that it goes away once u rev it past 1500rpm and also goes away once the motor is warm would suggest to me its lifters/tappets. try using a thicker oil on ur next oil change annd it should hopefully do the trick

waste of time. compression of a turbo skyline is alot lower den a non-turbo, so removing the turbo wil make it a nugget. and in regards to insurance im sure theyl quote u as if it were still turboed

^^^^^^ best post of the thread. everyone is so quick to have a hissy fit when a p-plater is caught racing/speeding or is involved in an accident, yet the majority of road deaths are not p-platers. also, you think bringing tougher penalties like confiscating someones car for 3 months is going to teach them a lesson? they wont have their licence in that time, so why in gods name would they care whether their car is sitting in their garage for that time, or in sum impound. personaly, since my car is not fully insured, ide prefer to have it sitting in the impound .

went and saw this with a mate yesterday. never thought ide like a white GTR till i saw this one. i cant believe this hasnt sold yet as it is undoubtedly one of the nicest examples of a white r34 gtr. if i can sell my car soon, this baby will be in my garage
