  3. well theres a alot of variables that can contribute to a good ET... but one thing is u cant compare apples with oranges....my car is totally diiferent to urs so y are u even tryin to compare .....try tyre choice for one, suspension setup two, 60ft times three, drag strip ran on four, and the list goes on.... its not tricks...its common sense....or maybe u think i shagged the officials for a fudged time slipp...now theres a trick for you! Just out of curiosity, do u question everybody that runs a better time than u? :) cuz rotors do 11s with 90mph passes
  4. dam thats bad luck...i guess i was in a bad and good situation myself...my skyline was in the garage (third party thank god) however i was drivin me girlies car (2month old little jazz) i was at bella vista and it hailed, pea size though....i also thought i heard somewhere that roof damage is right off....i hope this is true for me gurlfrwends case, cause the insurance company will replace new for old if its written off in the first year....ouch guys!

  9. with the rb motors, actually any motor...especially the way the throttle body was designed...pistons 3 and 4 are subjected to the most pressure coming from the exhuast side...the motors are not designed to except this sort of forced induction, when dealing with a highly volatile product such as nos which can drop engines temps dramatically.. it is crucial that there is equal amounts of pressure entering each piston/cylinder...hence a six fogger sys would be ideal...because u can adjust the amounts a nos entering each cylinder individually as the pressure in each cylinder is not always the same. By running a single fogger the distribution of nos would not be uniformly spread and hence it is only a matter of time.... by all means it will work..but when stressing the motor to these extremes... everything needs to be as close to perfect as possible to avoid something giving!
  10. no need for the fuel pump champ until u know how the car behaves... whether ur injector cycle is maxed out or not... as for ur power figure...ive seen anywhere from 130rwk to 180rwk on a standard turbo....then of course it depends which dyno you go on as well

  12. sweett... but remember these turbos are only good for 250kw efficiently ... i have made 260kw but temp rised so there was no point anyway all the best im out
  13. fair enough evo... instant boost and a push of the throttle.... but the more power you chase the more lag you get... simple as that!!! =)
  14. the way i think about it is ... its doin the same job....air from the manifold will enter that pathway before it enters the front of the turbo so no differences.... just there to waste excess air
  15. where talkin about different motors here 2l vs 2.5l would see dramatic differences in drivability
  16. i dont think there is any major difference besides the heat factor having the wastegate mounted there....saves on manifold cost and my m8 has done it and it doesnt skip a beat
  17. that is full boost.... no way you can achieve 300kw on a 20g ....the 25g yes if all other things are done with it as well... between gear shifts you a still on full boost...that is the most important aspect dont you think.... everyday driving is below that... so there is an advantage there in itself
  18. if the fuel setup is done right with a good tuner max power will be approx 250kw@rw no dramas whatsoever.... boost kicks in for me round 4500....this is not laggy at all on the street...good choice of turbo for the rb25...i made this figure on 1 bar of boost
