  1. have seen new basically new non import cars where the numbers don't line up always go by the condition of the car have a customer evo here with 40k on the clock , clearly the car has done double that was purchased at auction with 40k on it and this is not an import thing , the bunky yard dealers around here do it for the local stock . A guy comes around with a briefcase and does it on the yard.
  2. you dont have to get us to do your service , you can service it anywhere you like . you will need a proper tax invoice for the service you cant do it yourself or get your mates to do it though
  3. we had a s15 china one here the other day for install . procured locally the bov fitting went directly into the radiator fan . not just in the general direction , straight into the fan. top work china!
  4. given the price of things like r34s and v35s and evo's in japan at the moment its unlikely that is going to happen crazy cheap prices , strong au $ = cheap cars
  5. have seen them for 15k at dealers with warranty fresh from japan the auto sedans are crazy cheap now , less than 33 manual coupes.
  6. r33 will not run with AFM disconnected it will probably be AFM or air leak
  7. if the car is cutting out randomly while driving its often air flow meter
  8. I cant find anyone buy that name on the raws list for cube approval i am looking for the emissions evidence only though , not to buy a cube as such unfortunately mr gearing does not have 1.5l evidence
  9. a sealed "maintenance free" battery will be sufficient for the pits or you can buy domestic ones with the breather hose on them also . they are not any more expensive than normal.
  10. do any of the importers know who has emission evidence for the 1.5l in aus at the moment ?
  11. we have 1 r32gtr HKS Hi Power 409 Series in stock I can do at a very very special price of 750$ for sau.
  12. all the china coils are from the same factory with different colours and branding but the same coils in 7 years of selling splitfires ive had 1 s15 coil fail after 1.5 years of use on a heavily modified engine we sell at least 50 sets per year my favourite china coil story to recount is the car that came in with a bad misfire and the china coil had melted into a pool in the spark plug valley classic!
  13. it should be consult
  14. my money is on coil packs
  15. usually thats our "when you buy a clutch price" but Ill do it for sau members also

  18. the WA dept of transport will want the vic plates on the car and he will hand them in to them before they give him new wa plates
  19. give us I call I have good trade painter who does reasonably priced resprays and they not bad at all . not show car but you would be happy with it for the $$$
  20. its probably a bearing have a long think about spending 1000$ + on your 100k service on an engine with quite high possibility of being stuffed.
  21. I know a supplier with 1200 cars on tradecarview and none actually exist however if your foolish enough to give him your money he will find something roughly similar for you stick to auction , especially with this fixed price thing youve got going with the importer , atleast you will have some verification of the price of the vehicle
  22. ADR25 (anti theft steering locks) states... "ADR 25 requires that the normal function of the engine only occurs when the ignition lock is in the engine on position" in other words if you can remove the key and the engine runs it would be illegal this is the closest thing to a definetive answer I have found however most pit inspectors dont seem to mind so I wouldnt worry
  23. exports are coming
  24. did anyone mention it was hot? it was quite hot.......
