Rare! Mine's Tuned Ecu For Nm35
thompo70 replied to YangLIU's topic in For Sale (Private Car Parts and Accessories)
Not far off Haltech prices mate. Not to mention that ecu is essentially useless for every car except the one it was installed to. There have been many people try to get mod lists of remaps from Mines with little success. -
Latest Tune, Thoughts On Cooler Setup?
thompo70 replied to CEF33Y's topic in Engines & Forced Induction
Your worried about a 4% drop in power. There are way too many variables at play to make up that number. Your seat of pants feeling is most probably due to you being well used to the car. Also the dyno may be ever so slightly different to before. Your compression may be a tad lower than before. My personal opinion is just make do with what you have. Drive it and have fun. At least you have an RB20 still running sweet. How many threads have littered this forum with people f**king their engines in many different ways. My 2c take it or leave it. Cheers. -
Various Stagea And Other Rb Parts

Is the Block from the RB25 neo? Also does the block come with the main caps, girdle and crank? Thanks -
Hi Guys Up for sale are updated gearbox parts to suit the R32 R33 GTR and Stagea gearbox's. I originally bought these to rebuild my gearbox however it was to worn out to use these so I bought a new replacement box. All parts have been opened however they are BRAND NEW never used. I have priced all parts at the same price as listed on amayama.com. If you want to know these prices are significantly cheaper than buying through Nissan Aus. The prices are firm however, I can take money off if they are bought all together. Parts are 1. 1st Gear Syncro (3 Piece) - 32604-AA501 $50 2. 2nd Gear Syncro (3 Piece) - 32604-30P60 $50 3. 3rd Gear Syncro (3 Piece) - 32604-30P61 $45 4. 4th Gear Syncro (1 Piece) - 32604-40P61 $45 5. 5th Gear Syncro - 32614-30P60 $45 6. 5th Gear Syncro - 32617-30P60 $50 6. Reverse counter cone - 32214-01G21 $20 7. 3rd & 4th Shift fork - 32811-05U10 $40 8. 3rd & 4th sleeve coupling - 32611-AA51A $60 9. 4th gear/ Input shaft - 32201-05U71 $150 Items located central coast NSW Can post anywhere Thanks

Maybe you should also try a water to air intercooler setup. They are proven to have extremely low pressure drops and are always physically smaller than air to air. Food for thought

S2 Dayz Bumper With Blitz Se Intercooler
thompo70 replied to thompo70's topic in Four Door Family & Wagoneers
Thanks for the Feedback. I think ill opt for a water to air intercooler to avoid chopping. Cheers -
Hey guys Quick question for the people with a series 2 C34 stagea. When installing a Blitz SE return flow cooler do you have to cut the front bumper at all? Thanks

Its very true what you say tridentt150v. I also would never buy another Ford for the flaws you listed. However in today's day and age I don't really trust any company to do whats best for the customer. Its all about the end dollar. If you keep up to speed with the Nissan/ Infinity cars in the US. There have been scores of people wanting to change engines due to oil consumption and faulty Auto transmission. These are all problems with their flagship 3.7l V6. From memory guys were going through more than a litre of oil every 1000km. The only exception has been The Santa Fe we own. Its just coming on 5 years old now. The warranty has covered a few things and it has near 200,000km on it. Over all it has been flawless.

Skyline R33 Ep. 3 "cylinder Head Removal"
thompo70 replied to reden's topic in Members Cars, Project Overhauls & Restorations
Congrats on tackling this with your old man. You will always respect it more when know you have built everything. Good to see your learning too. Its nowhere near as hard as what people make it out to be. Half the battle is taking the time to learn. -
Have fun replacing Diff bushes constantly (Requires subframe removal) Have fun replacing Heater mixer shaft when it breaks. hopefully you have the updated stronger one. (Requires Dash out). Have fun replacing all the engine rubber seals and electrical connectors due too excessive heat. (From memory the thermostat is somewhere near 92 degrees) Have fun replacing all the front end bushes due to being flogged out. Making all that power is fun but in the long run the maintenance bill will be higher if you don't work on the car yourself. I owned at XR6T and while the engine is by far the best part of the whole car, the rest of the car is poorly engineered. I couldn't believe how bad all the suspension bushes were after such low km's. I have owned a 180sx, Silvia, Chaser & a stagea. After working on all these cars the significantly older cars are 1. Easier to work on 2. Handle better And 3. Run cooler. My 2c. Take it or leave it.

Just look to see if it has been well maintained. Like all cars everything starts to wear and degrade with time. Your biggest issue will be rust in the front doors. Pretty much all the stagea's have some form of rust there. Good luck fixing it. I did it myself and it didn't cost too much in the end. Helps if you know how to spray paint though.

Same as R33 GTR. If you cant find one locally you could try yahoo auctions and use jessestreeter.com to post one to canada. Its an easy job to replace them. Just very time consuming. Good luck.
