hey guys, desperately need a v35 xenon ballast as mine has filled up with water and doesnt work any more. Stupid workshop lost the light cap off *rant*. Also, there was someone on ebay who had some for sale last week and they didnt sell but ebay won't let me contact them for some stupid reason! I recall this user (kidicarus794613) is on this forum does anyone know who it is?

chris, have u had a chance to fiddle with any of the new nav discs from nissan.. the new murano, 370z and maxima seem to have the same nav system as the v36 skyline

apple sell iphone av cables which work fine with video ive decided to import a M$ Zune 80GB they seem to be ok and they have an av dock that comes with remote n all.. the thing i hate bout the apple av cables is that it doesnt show you the interface on the screen ie.. u can scroll through on the external screen to choose music etc.. u can with the zune and it has an internal fm tuner too theres a demo of the interface

Although not a big fan of the hideous spoiler.. reminds me of the ugliest coupe ever known to man (the chrysler crossfire) but I guess all the new toys will counter it.. so intelligent key (about bloody time) push button start radar cruise control bluetooth mp3 cd aux in as for the interior i think its on par if not better then bmw's.. they do come in different colours and finishes.. also love the new dash *drools*

hehe good ol cvt's.. they work well on take off by getting u during ur gear change lag.. i used to drive a prius and had lots of fun 'draggin' cars off the mark. You can beat most cars to about 40km/h which is just enough to jump in front of them.. i know it's evil but hey you gotta work with what u got

no.. if the nav drive does not have the bluetooth logo I would move on ive been through all of the V35 site no mention at all of bluetooth.. sorry dude but yeh blame google dodgy translation!

I could've sworn i replied to this last nite.. how bizzarre.. anyway.. i doubt you will be pairing your phone via voice command.. wat comes up when you hit the actual phone button? I assume it will take you into the phone menu where u will set all that stuff up.. send through shots and i will guide you through it..

lol.. bluetooth does come stock with the gen 2 premium v35's... I would assume that it would be done via the phone menu rather than the voice command. What happens when you press the phone button? My Cima has the voice command menu.. ill go through a quick run down of the commands: Eea Con On - Air con on Eea con off - air con off shiii di - cd efu emm - fm ai emm - am terebi - tv emu dee chenga- md changer dee bee dee - dvd The most handy ones require u to learn how to count in jap which allow you to say the radio station or set the temperature eg) kyu hyaku go juu yon - 954 2ue ni juu do - 20 degrees you can also say commando risto which will display all the different commands.. if you want to take a photo of the different tabs ill let u know if ive missed something.. especially under the phone tab which should say フォン up the top.. also the carwings stuff sounds interesting ive never really understood wat carwings was all about.. anyways have fun cheers, k

Your probably right.. Randwick Nissan was the first Nissan dealership I went to.. I think the word is out that they have a Jap mechanic as there were 3 or 4 skylines parked outside.. I was very impressed with the service guys too they fixed the problem with my car and cleared the codes and didnt charge me a cent. I didn't cop any crap about it being an import and the guys there seemed to take pride in that their company make awesome cars I have dealt with IS in the past and they are OK but GEXer is right they do tend to milk you for your $$

hey, I would suggest just sticking to Nissan. I recommend Nissan in Randwick as one of the service guys moved over from Nissan Japan after working there for ten years. I had a slight problem with my Cima and he knew what the problem was straight away as it was a common issue with them there. You guys have it a lot easier though sharing the same engine as the Z and all.. but I guess it's still a massive advantage to have..

has anybody made any progress with this? I've come across an adapter for the phone that can change it to work with au, foma and wdc connectors... still cannot find a listing of devices with the different plugs.. link here

awesome.. is jeff's cima a vip.. it seems the 20's should fit on without any mods.. id like to see what the difference in ride quality would be between the stock 16's and the 20's..

put up the pics with the v35 rims the 16'' stock rims are really starting to get to me.. I'd like to know what the difference in ride would be with 20''s.. for those that dont know.. the Infiniti Q45 which sold in the US until 06 is a cut down version of the Cima.. congrats on the car.. welcome to the club i dont know who told u its got better fuel economy then the g35.. ur in for a big suprise i get bout 7km/L average driving.. spec wise theyre a 4.5L V8 (they also come in a 3L Twin Turbo).. The engine pulls out 290kw (capped at 208kw stock).. 0-100 5.8s... puts its rivals the s500 and bmw 750 to shame.. the vip versions come with rear reclining seats with back and foot massage

hey guys, just a quick note about the adr82/00.. if the vehicle is fitted with a factory immobiliser there is a way around having to replace it dotars recognise the ULC-S338/98 which is the canadian standard for immobilisers (all vehicles in canada must be fitted with an immobiliser whether stock or aftermarket).. The ULC-S338/98 does mention the Infiniti v35 so all you need to do is prove to dotars that the v35 and g35 have the same immobiliser (which you can grab of the Nissan Fast system) We have been using this evidence for most vics and dotars have never questioned it... hope this helps cheers, k
